Saint Sabbat Part 1 - Face

Hey everyone,

I spent about a week painting a miniature from mind work games. It soon became clear to me this wasn’t the right project for the Monte San Savino show. So I’m very excited to share with you one of my most ambitious projects, Saint Sabbat.

Over the next month I’ll take you on the journey painting a big piece for a very important show to me!

Thanks

Andy

Sanguinius Video Coming!

Hey Everyone,

Hope you have a great weekend lined up, and some good hobby gets done! I was going to make Sanguinius a 3 part series, but decided it would work better as 2 parts. Because of that, I’m going to put the video out next week. So the schedule will be:

Tuesday 26th: Part 1 - TMM gold, Face, Red, leather, leopard fur, spear

Tuesday 3rd Part 2 - wings, backdrop/base.

Hope that works for you all, after that I will start Saint Sabbat for the Monte San Savino sh...

Cities of Sigmar Part 3 - NMM Ramble

Hey all!

Final part of this series. I paint Nmm so often on here that I thought I would do a video really just discussing a bunch of things on the subject. Interested in your feedback as I don’t know how easy it is to follow. Anyway thanks for good feedback on the previous one!

Next weeks video will be Sanguinius using metallic paints.

Ben's Guard!

Hi all,

I meant to post this yesterday but got caught up teaching. Loads of you have been asking how Ben did his brilliant looking scheme for his cadians. Well he wrote it all down, we had a big arguement, he forgot to note down one of the paints, I repainted the mini and tada!

Farsight Coming

Hey everyone,

I’m currently filming a lot of stuff for Farsight. I thought it would be fun to do a water base, planning on having come of the cherry blossom floating and causing ripples in the water. I like to leave the water to cure for a couple days so I’ve been filming the torso as well. I’m really pleased with the red and it’s pretty simple so looking forward to sharing that. If everything goes well, my plan is to release the finished base as part one and then the torso as p...

Theory Focus - Visual Hierarchy and Values

Hey everyone,

As a pre-warning, this video in theory heavy. I’m really happy to be able to explain some of these important concepts, which when painting for a display miniature really helps. I really need your feedback on this one, to see if it’s the sort of thing you want to see here.

The other good news is I am deep into filming Howling Banshees and Jain Zarr together! This will be army painting focussed so different to this one. Hope you enjoy the variety I’m trying to g...
