Can we talk about Anton's improvement in dancing ?!?!? I can't believe I've gone from being his anti (jk) to a fan. It's to be admired how passionate he is about what he does, I'm loving seeing his growth.

Wonbin was born to be a center. He shines even in rehearsals. Pure star quality and charisma.

Vocally I expected more from Sungchan, perhaps this wasn't the song for his voice.

They somehow manage to entertain me without really doing much, maybe cos the scenery is so beautiful too.

I do feel like this is something that would be better to watch off camera but I'll see what the next couple of episodes are like.

Haechan and Yuta are really my MVP's for both of these!

Their tones and general delivery gets me and surprises me every time some how?!

I really underestimated how vocally demanding Pricey is as a song cos it's groovy and fun but they put their ALL into that. Doyoung wrapped it up NICELY also.

I'd love to hear some English songs that have a lil more personality to them from SM but that's asking for a lot I feel like.

It's EERIE how similarly they sound when singing the chorus from a technical perspective and seeing as they do the same warm ups I feel like they have the same vocal lessons.

I wish they didn't rely on tension and squeeze for those chestier notes but for the stronger vocalists Jiwon and Hayoung it seems intentional so we'll see if they use other techniques in the future.

Hmm.

There's a couple of songs I've saved and kept re-listening to but perhaps my expectations were WAAY too high considering his previous work.

I think it's good enough for now considering he's doing all this himself essentially however for me, it wasn't the most exciting or memorable comeback for me.

KARINA. Truly the full package, she could be such a formidable soloist!!

Her vocals are the richest and most well rounded for me although Winter is a very close second, she ATE her recording up. Tbh I even saw new sides from Ningning also!

I love that Giselle isn't shy about making mistakes or just giving things a try, shows a great amount of growth and character.

Hope we get these solos soon. I doubt they'll be on the next mini, so I'm guessing the full album after that?...

Tbh this concert is definitely all about the solo stages which I can see why everyone wanted me to see them, they really fucking gagged me lol. I won't spoil which ones they were!

Chanyeol and Jaehyun really brought the heat this year. Looking forward to Baek next.

The sound he's gone for is RIGHT up my street and suits his voice perfectly. I also imagine he had a huge hand in writing the songs since he plays instruments and you can feel it through out.

This was cuuuutee.

The games turned out to be waaaay more simple than I imagined but it's a nice start. Beomgyu was the right host lool.

There's something about their dynamic I CAN'T put my finger on yet. It's not a good or bad thing but there's a unique way they relate that I find interesting. It's like an agreed camaraderie that could fracture and has fractured before but also feels very respectable lol.

To be sooo effortlessly smooth has its positives and negatives. On the positive, he can EASILY achieve something people could never train for or learn. On the downside, it can be underwhelming and predictable.

I don't have an issue with his range and how he uses it so that's not the issue. It would be nice to see him do something unexpected especially when it comes to tempo and volume, ever so slightly.

BoA Here I am Concert 2013

I feel like I did her dirty by mistake and should've watched the 2014 concert but that one had random songs I hadn't heard before so I went for this one but it wasn't really my bag.

All I KNEW was I wasn't starting with her best, the 2008 one lol.

The gag is, she is one of SM's best vocalists no doubt, her tone however can be a bit grating especially during her raspier moments, coupled with songs that aren't pretty melodically it's not as fun to listen to.
