I truly love when they're giving a budget but this album does NOT give that.
Their title is a rework of Shinee's Area and I dunno how I feel about that lol. All that talent being under invested in is a damn SHAME.
The vocals though had some GREAT moments especially the descending runs Xiaojun was doing and also Ten's vocal growth is IMPRESSIVE.
What are your thoughts??

Took me waay too long, oops.
My general take away was THROAT tension, JESUS! I feel for their throats however Kai was a pleasant surprise, I had no idea he had such range and to ME seemed to have the LEAST throat tension, if any at all!
Beomgyu's deeper tone is so good and I wish I could hear it more! Back for me had EVERYONE shining which was great to see!

My unhinged mood continues lool today was a weird day!
NOW I'm super glad I did this cos this album is a strong return to form with LUSCIOUS harmonies and surprise chords that you don't expect which made me enjoy songs I wouldn't normally love, love.
Got a couple of new songs I enjoy which I'm very happy about.
I'm so proud of myself for doing this in time for the new album!

IT'S SOO surreal seeing Taemin in these settings!
Him doing Into The New World made me SO HAPPY it's unreal. His growth as a vocalist is truly amazing. I would like to see him do something that frees his upper belts more for sure and for him to incorporate a more forward placement but tbh he sounds great regardless.

This album definitely feels more obligatory than intentional for me which is not a bad thing. It's lighter and not overly adventurous which makes sense considering enlistment is coming soon!
I didn't particularly love any of the songs but tbh Face the sun is still going to be a hard one to beat and FML had it's moments so I'm ok with no loving this one.

I consume the music for what it is and overall this SONICALLY was a disappointment and didn't feel as fresh and current as I would have liked after a 2+ year hiatus. On the other hand, there's a lot of potential here, I do wish she played around with her delivery more. Better/fresher production goes without saying.
Overall it's not terrible at all and is definitely easy to listen to but to review? it's just safe and predictable to the point where it feels uninspiring.

I THINK I'M A STAN?!!?!?!?!?!?!?! I do belive it's absolutely possible to stan a group and not love their music, simply because their voices are THAT good!!

It's been a minute since I've listened to a TXT album!
I am PLEASANTLY surprised by the amount of harmonies and ad libs in the background! It made me enjoy the songs even more.
I also LOVE their identity as a group and who they are, such a breath of fresh air in the current market that feels super mechanical.

BESIDES Baddie, I have to say, this is a good album and has a nice feeling to it.
I do wish I AM was the title track, I think lyrically and sonically it would've been the perfect climax! Baddie would've worked after Kitsch for sure.
I also like the vocals more on this album and will definitely revisit some of these songs!

SURPRISE.
I'm going to start doing this for very select none k-pop albums because I enjoy reviewing albums more than anything.
Sonically, the producers ate this and conceptually I'm proud of his artistry.
His vocals HOWEVER, though they suit the mood, leave a lot to be desired personally to match the energy and complexity of the production.

I enjoyed RBB a lot more than Summer Magic.
Happy to hear the return of lush harmonies and stronger vocals although we are missing some of the unexpected exciting musicality that we had in earlier years!

This line up gave me JOY!! We got SANGERS!! AT FUCKING LAST! It seems SM DOES remember that they should have EXCELLENT vocalists and not just that, we got TWO of them.

Going forward I will not be doing any Key projects because though I don't dislike his sound, it doesn't stimulate me much either for the most part.
I completely forgot I filmed this LOOOOOOL. Literally had to double check, I had even DELETED the reaction off my phone with my other reactions I filmed this day lol.
Phew, glad I remembered.
Anyway he has a great instrument although if I'm being honest he wasn't super memorable in terms of what he can do, though impressive.

OVERALL, if it wasn't for those holy trinity of songs I would've loathed this album when it comes to MY tastes HOWEVER I still would've given it a decent rating because the entire production of the album feels fresher than 2023 and not dated at all which was a pleasant surprise.
I gave it a B because there are a LOT of great musical moments in the vocals and production that shows work went into this album. If it was a rush job it certainly didn't feel like it!

Firstly thank you to everyone that kept asking me to check this choreo out because not only did I LOVE IT, it lead me to check out the collab with Enhypen which was one of my favourite boy group choreo videos I've EVER SEEN!
