How Long Does A Video Take?

Someone asked me on Discord how long a video takes. The answer is, it depends. A few things go into making a lore video

Behind the The Kaleidoscope Videos

I was trying out various stuff in my video editing program and somehow stumbled upon the kaleidoscope effect.

I thought it was beautiful and amazing. A voice spoke to me "Why not use this on a BB trailer?". I assumed it was the voice of a Great One and decided to consider it.

The Moon Presence Doesn't Want Us To Hunt The Great Ones.

 

I don't think the Moon Presence really cares whether we hunt the Great Ones or not. After all, the Ebrietas and Amygdala fights are optional. The only otherworldly beings we kill are Rom and the Wet Nurse. Even then, we only kill them to fulfill our contract. 

The contract, in my opinion, involves freeing Mergo from the Nightmare of Mensis. Why do I think that? Firstly, we don't lay a finger on the infant. We simply let him dissipate after besting the Wet Nurse. Secondly, som...

Tried Out Streaming

I recently streamed a couple of things on Twitch and YouTube. I must say, it's pretty fun!

Talking and gaming though isn't easy. Talking, gaming and following the chat requires improvements on my part, for sure!

The chat though is the best part of the whole streaming thing. The peeps are awesome, funny, encouraging and helpful. Surprisingly, the trolls are almost non existent! And if they do show up, we just put them in time out XD

Origin Stories.

Would you be interested in hearing origin stories (in some shape, way, or form) for some of the starting classes in Dark Souls and Bloodborne?

I'm writing mini lore for  the lone survivor of a lost hamlet, since that's the easiest lolz. But what about the others? Is it something that would be wroth looking into?

A New Idea. Prepare To Lore.

Okay, so I'm still working on my Runes (Bloodborne) lore. It's almost done, but it's taking a little longer than I anticipated. So meanwhile, I thought of a new lore vide idea.

What if, I post a video containing lore. The lore would be filled with clues about a character or a location. You would have to guess what I'm talking about! Like a riddle-type-deal!

Recording Audio For The Lore

I think audio recording is among the funnest, yet the most challenging parts of the lore-video-making-process.

On the one hand, I'm quite shy when it comes to public speaking. I think my shyness-induced-stress-levels  manifest themselves in my vids quite often, since I sound different in almost every video lol. (Actually, the variations in sound and pronunciation, is probably half shyness and half level of tiredness, since I do most of my recordings after work.)

Where Are The Artsy People In Dark Souls and Bloodborne?

The Sousborne universe is beautiful and detailed. For a while now, I have been wondering who are all the painters, sculptors, architects (in terms of NPCs, and in-game characters) responsible for creating all the beautiful sights and producing all the wonderful art? 

Perhaps someone can help me out. As I type this post, I can't think of an item description, or piece of dialogue, which could point toward the minds behind the sculptures, structures and paintings we encounter.

Welcome!

Hi everyone!

I'm really excited about this whole Patreon thing. A bit nervous too, but mostly excited! Feels like a whole new adventure. But not like a taxing adventure of a chosen one, where I die 700 times an hour. More like a relaxing adventure of a hunter, where I only die 300 times an hour.
