Going to do another book cover image. This time for Give A Dog A Bone. Which is in fact, an idea for another Mari & Rory story/comic.

Hi-res: Aster

The Legoshi image, the Sacrum Sacrifice image and this one were tests to see how my sketch brush looked when I added color/shading. I don't necessarily mind the look. Trying to be less overly concerned with being 'neat' and having super clean lines and a let things be a little messy. The ability to make everything 'perfect' is one of those digital art traps.

I was debating on what colour to make their outfits. Originally was going to be the same colour as Urn's, but I think I'll keep his a different colour. I always liked how Star Trek had different colour uniforms so I want to do the same thing.

I have to say working on comics is very interesting. Because it's making me think about what details to include and which to exclude. Something I find myself often thinking ...
