Rebirth Updates

Hey everyone!

I'm still waiting on those January solicitations for Marvel and DC, so I haven't been able to update the modern reading orders yet, but with the little free time I've had this week I did continue my Rebirth re-read each night.

When I create my orders, I generally try to bulk all the events together, so they can be read all at once instead of split between ongoing series. This seems to work in most cases, but did not work well for Heroes In Crisis.

I'm pretty happy with my productivity this week. I was able to finally get to The Flash then reviewed and sorted all issues of The Power of SHAZAM!, Justice League Task Force, Extreme Justice, Black Lightning, Damage, Gunfire, and a mini-series that I found from an ad in Gunfire; Psyba-Rats.

Justice League Post-Zero Hour Update #3

Hey everyone!

I had a pretty productive few days this week and was able to get through all of Starman, Wonder Woman, Manhunter, and Justice League America (which I somehow missed before doing all of JLA). I also definitely went beyond Infinite Crisis with Wonder Woman, Manhunter, and Green Arrow, so that will save me some time when I get to the Infinite Crisis - New 52 Reading Order.

DC Updated Thru December 2022!!!

Hey everyone!

Today I got the DC Infinite Frontier Reading Order updated thru December. This update includes the full Dark Crisis event, Kal-El Returns crossover, and a handful of single issues, mini-series, and story arcs.

I'm not sure what direction DC is going to go in post-Dark Crisis, but if we get a bunch of new #1s (which I'm thinking is unlikely), I'll probably start a new reading order.

The Marvel Legacy/Fresh Start Reading Order is now updated with the December 2022 solicitations. This includes story arcs from Carnage and Shang-Chi, mini-series like Thunderbolts and Damage Control, and a number of single issue stories and one shots including Timeless.

Justice League Post-Zero Hour Update #2

Continuing to work my way through some of the main DC titles, this week I cataloged all of the Post-Zero Hour Aquaman and Green Arrow books.

Justice League Post-Zero Hour Update #1

Hey everyone!

I had a pretty crazy work week, so after merging over all relevant materials from the Batman and Superman orders, I decided to start off with a few smaller series that I had time to fully complete.

I got through The Ray, Primal Force, Anima, and Young Heroes in Love. All lesser known series but, I have to say, the art in The Ray looks incredible. I may have to go back and read that.

Blade Runner

Hey everyone!

Random update, but I decided to create a Blade Runner watching/reading order after finishing Black Lotus recently and being tempted to re-read 2019 and 2029.

If you haven't read the comics, I definitely recommend them. The 2019/2029 series does a great job of expanding the world without effecting the Deckard storyline.

The Marvel Legacy/Fresh Start Reading Order is now updated with the November 2022 solicitations.

This update includes the full A.X.E.: Judgment Day event, Gambit and Genis-Vell mini-series, and a handful of other story arcs and issues.

Hey everyone!

The DC Infinite Frontier Reading Order is now updated with the November 2022 solicitations. This update includes a handful of annuals, the complete Deathstroke: Year One arc, The New Golden Age One-Shot which leads into the rebirth of the Justice Society of America, and a handful of other story arcs, mini-series, and single issues stories.

Superman Post-Zero Hour Update #4

Hey everyone!

Today I was able to put aside a couple of hours to get through all of Steel, Superboy, and a few mini-series and crossovers. Next up is Supergirl before I do a deep dive into one-shots and mini-series to hopefully have this order completed within the next few weeks.

Hey everyone!

The DC Infinite Frontier Reading Order is now updated with the October 2022 solicitations. This update includes the final story arc of Future State: Gotham, the full Flashpoint Beyond mini-series, Blood Syndicate Season One, Duo, Detective Comics: Gotham Nocturne, and a handful of other issues and story arcs.

The Marvel Legacy/Fresh Start Reading Order is now updated with October 2022 solicitations. This update includes the first story arc of the new Punisher series, the Iron Cat mini-series, and a handful of other single issue stories, story arcs, and mini-series.

I'm still waiting on DC solicitations for October 2022, but I'll hopefully have that reading order updated early next week.

Superman Post-Zero Hour Update #3

Hey everyone!

I hope you all had an amazing weekend.

I was able to put in a handful of hours Friday evening and finished going through the primary Superman books (Superman, The Man of Steel, Action Comics, and Adventures of Superman).

Next I'll be going through Supergirl, Superboy, Steel, and any other series/miniseries/one-shot featuring a member of the Super family.

Back from Vacation

Hey everyone!

I'm back from vacation and back in the real world :)

My wife and I had a great time visiting Vancouver, Victoria, and Seattle for the first time. Lots of different types of travel (planes, ferries, buses, and cars) but that only gave me a good amount of time to do some random digital reading.

The DC Infinite Frontier Reading Order is now updated with September 2022 solicitations!

This update includes the conclusion of the Superman Warworld saga, the first arc of The Sandman Universe: Nightmare Country, the Nubia: Queen of the Amazons mini-series, and a handful of other single issues, mini-series, and story arcs.

No tangible updates this week, but I did start my prep work on Post-Zero Hour Superman. Now that I've moved over some items from the Batman reading order and made a list of series to start working on, I plan on fully diving into it next week.

September 2022 solicitations should also release this week or next, so I'll have the DC and Marvel reading orders updated as soon as I can go through those. Hopefully I can drop one update next week and the other the week follow...

This week I put in some time adding to the Batman Post-Zero Hour Reading Order. I was able to get through all of Birds of Prey, Nightwing, Azrael, Catwoman, and a handful of related mini-series, one-shots, and crossover events.

Hey Everyone!

The DC Infinite Frontier Reading Order is now updated with the July 2022 solicitations. This includes the first arc of Batman/Superman: World's Finest, Detective Comics: The Seven (1059-1061), and a handful of other single issues and story arcs.

By July, Dark Crisis will have also begun, which means we could potentially be coming up on a "new era" of DC which may end this reading order and start a new one, but I guess we'll have to wait and see.
