Huge progress this week! I've cracked the problems I was having making the dating system work and in the process I've learned a lot about programming in VNM. I'm confident going forward that I'll be able to make quite swift progress on coding the game in the future, but more importantly the dating system is working now! Here's a rare example of an art preview I can actually show off publicly because it's not too lewd. ;) Among other things, this features a new casual outfit for Nobuko.
The experience of making this image was actually not much fun, because the pose was really hard to get right and took a whole morning's work for a relatively simple picture. Hopefully it's worth it, though. What do you think?

As requested, here's a 2k version of this pic! I tweaked it a little for the 2k version; increasing the lighting and the colour contrast a bit, and also using Iku's more realistic cleavage that I developed for later images.

For the actual game I have to convert any animations to the low quality "webmhd" format, but when I create them they're in a somewhat higher quality mp4 version. They're not super high definition or anything, but they're better than what you'll see in the game and when you get them in a video file you can easily play them over and over, if you want. To be clear about this, these animations are something I already have as a result of making them, I just can't put them in the game.

This is just a poster I made for fun, because I wanted to try out that cupcake pattern on her dress. I rendered it in a higher resolution than I normally do and I ran the render for a longer time than necessary in order to make sure it came out with really clear detail. I've been trying out some interesting ways to incorporate animations into the game. I'd love to include lots more, but I really need to get a powerful workstation computer if I want to render a lot of these, because on my current, old PC they take ages to create. Still, I've come up with some short cuts that at least allow me to put in a few of these for now and I can go back later and add more if I get the funds.
