Phew! I didn't realize how exhausting that would be!
Here's the current status of the upcoming wallpaper, following the end of the stream. Unfortunately, my computer is so old that it was struggling to keep up with the demands of both running Photoshop and the stream service, so I had to call it quits as the lag was making any forward progress impossible.
However, I'll keep working away at this and have it available as both a wallpaper and a print by the end of the week! It'll look so sp...

As y'all know, yesterday was the last day on my crazy job that was sucking all my time and energy away from everything except the barest essentials of my comic work. It was funny - I handed in my Employee Badge and headed down the hall to the elevators, and immediately felt my body begin to wilt. I came home and slept for maybe... 10 hours? I think?

All things said and done, despite its ups and downs, this was an awesome job. I'm the good kind of tired.

I was so tired and burned out today that I brought a blanket with me to work to wrap myself in, and it has to be one of the smartest things I've ever done!
A lot of stuff in the Epilogue was directly inspired buy some of the more unsavory "helpful critiques" I've received online, which I think just goes to show that no experience is wasted, and you can turn anything into a positive.
I am very very very very very tired and frustrated, so I'm gonna cheer myself up by telling you about THE SECRET THING I'VE BEEN WORKIN ON:

I mentioned that I had started writing/illustrating instructions and recipe lists for some really ridiculous drinks that seemed in character for Lyra to enjoy, but wow, they contained so much alcohol. I didn't feel comfortable with the feeling that I was endorsing that heavy level of drinking, so the answer was changed to something that promoted responsibility and structure to that kind of recreation.
