The Chapter 10 cover is finished!! I will be diving deep into page production this week, alongside the brainless, soothing work of cleaning boards. At this point I am comfortable setting a Return Date for 02-08-2021. HO BOY, I am excited. I have PLANS.

On Monday I had a big deadline for the dayjob (that's the pitch I mentioned before! it went really well!), which meant that the following day I mostly slept and recovered. I also finalized the script and got it all exported into individual pages!
Chapter 10 is officially 45 pages long. That's a little over my 40-page ideal pagecount, but I'm okay with that - this chapter needed the breathing room. All of this means that I can officially hit the ground running and ...

A'ight, this is going to be a short and sweet update! The second draft of the script is done, and I'm feeling pretty satisfied with it. I want another day or so to massage some things and tweak some smaller beats here and there, but I expect I'll start exporting the pages into their individual page templates in the next couple of days.
After that, I can actually start drawing pages/working on the cover, which means I'll be able to come back at you guys with a return date, hopefull...

It's been a very quiet week behind the scenes here at DotL, mostly due in part because of the painful necessity that often happens: the comic had to take a back seat to the obligations of my dayjob! We're at the start of a new episode, which is always the most exhausting part of the process because of how much Think Power it demands - we're creating interesting shots, storytelling beats, creatively problem solving, and coming up with great gags, the entire time, all at once.
