It's been a pretty crazy week, which meant that I was up late again last night working feverishly on today's update. Where the heck does all my time go?
For this chapter I've decided to try a different way of coloring pages for the sake of time and simplicity: there are a lot of detailed pages coming up, and I'm worried that the style I've used in the past will make them appear muddy and cluttered. I'm interested to hear what you think!

This chapter starts with a flashback - oh no! I usually hate those: when they're handled poorly they're usually overly sentimental and do nothing to advance the plot, so I try to use them sparingly. So when you do see them, THEY'RE GONNA BE IMPORTANT.

So, Chapter 2 starts tomorrow, and I've only just realized that I haven't given you guys an update since I finished the script. Sorry! My bad!
So, when I finished thumbnailing/writing the script, I jumped straight into Photoshop to start putting pages together. (Sorry for the ugly URLs - I haven't found a way to add them directly into posts.)

As you saw in the last update I gave you on the second chapter's progress, I was scripting the story on loose pieces of paper. I do this because I can literally chop up and move around segments that I like to the places that I need them while I still consider it a work in progress.
Once I get it to a point where I'm really pleased with how it feels, I copy the entire script to my sketchbook and redraw everything. You can see in the photos that the dialogue in the second versio...
