Well. This is one that really needs color. But here it is anyway, a bit earlier for once. The things that are important to note is that panel two is sepia (we're not really looking at it, it's happening somewhere else) and that, in panel six, the weird force-field effect in the doorway disappears. (That's what the sound effect is for.) Not that these guys notice, since they're staring at the flame.
Anyway, things are probably going to get wild.

I've spent most of the day watching tutorial videos for ShipStation. ShipStation is in many ways wonderful, and is saving my bacon as far as Australian shipping is concerned, but the interface is not as user-friendly for me as something like PirateShip. Pirate Ship is amazing, and their branding is delightful, but ShipStation is more powerful for what I need at the moment, so I'm sticking with them for the time being. Ok! Here's Friday's page, and I'm finally getting my feet under me after a week of all kinds of discombobulating events, the worst of which was the death of a friend that I liked very much but didn't know as well as I meant to, and now it's too late. So yeah. I've been processing that.

Happy Valentine's Day!
I've found a way to get the packages to Australia, so I am very happy. ShipStation can do it via Stamps.com. They have a special Global Advantage Program where they pack up everything and send it via one of their carriers. They say it takes a little longer than USPS, but since the USPS won't do it, it will still be faster. This, apparently, is how large companies are still shipping. They're just bypassing the post office.

So the toilet overflowed and there was water all over the place, and now I'm trying to deal with figuring out how much water got into the floor (a lot) and how to dry it out properly. Adventure! (Also, remember how I was messing with the toilet a while ago? It wasn't this one. Don't think I did this. I didn't.)
Also, Phil made honey bread for me today to make me feel better, and I made very nice split-pea soup with lots of carrots. Yummy.

Edit: I looked up London's bedrock so we could take a reasonable guess at the color. It sits on chalk and London Clay, which has lots of fossils! Delightful! And yes, I have indeed read all the Pratchett I've been able to collect over the last 36 years, and remember "the chalk" but didn't know it extended to London!

I'm going to keep this short, because back in November we mixed up a batch of eggnog, and I just had some, and it was, ah, quite strong. So I'm feeling dopier than usual.
