Our Girl Genius Sparks and Monsters Kickstarter is Now Live!

We're excited and terrified to announce that our latest Kickstarter campaign is live. We'll be adding fun things as the campaign goes on, so we hope you'll visit and maybe back it!

Phil wants me to point out that, since we won't be doing conventions for...well, we're not sure how long, this is the best chance to get a copy with a signed bookplate. It's also the best way to get a hardcover edition since those have been selling out very quickly lately.

Our new Kickstarter campaign has 12 days left!

Right now, we are running a Kickstarter campaign for our latest Girl Genius Collection: Queens and Pirates! Sketch to Finish...

This is seriously embarrassing, but Phil says I should post it because you all might think it’s interesting. 

So...uh...what happened was, we needed to do a "Science" T-shirt for OffWorld Designs. Phil was stuck on what to do, and was getting really annoyed, so I did this horrible scribbly composition sketch and the picture on the right is what came of it. 

Phil says it was very helpful, and the final is good, so I guess it all worked out, but I'm going to have to do some rea...

Our Occasionally Glacial Work Flow...

Hello! I know we don't do much on the actual Patreon page, which feels a little weird, so I thought you all might like a look at this "before and after" shot. The sketch was done around the same time as the first Girl Genius comic, but Phil never got around to drawing it. I saved it all these years, and finally got him to use it as a basis for the color image above. I see that VonPinn didn't make the cut. Hm. This is going to be part of the decoration for a DIY print-it-and-make it yourself box ...

Well, the new Kickstarter is live...

We went live on Friday, but we're kind of taking a while to really spread the word. There's so much to do! I had to learn to make videos in Premiere Pro. Heh.
