Mana Rocks! Yay.
These are very likely going to be quite important for Limited as they enable splashes but also reward you for being on-guild by paying you off later in the game assuming you can come up with the mana to pay for it.

Hey All,
Luis and I were thinking of different topics for the show tomorrow since we have one week to go until the M19 Sunset Show but also didn't feel like dedicating another episode to M19 specifically was really in the listeners best interest. Ultimately, we love answering your questions directly, as you give us a host of mini-topics to sound off on, and you get exactly what you want from us for that episode.
So we are doing that. Ship the questions in the comments here and we'l...

Hey All,
I've been working with the podcast publisher I use to resolve an issue that Google Play Music has been having with showing the last few episodes of LR. Apparently there was a backend issue between the two companies, but it is supposed to be working now.
Let me know if you are having any issue getting the show via the Google Play Music store, and hopefully it's resolved now :)
Thanks,
Marshall

This week on Limited Resources Marshall and Luis do a Level Up show about data in Magic. There is so much data and information floating around about sets, cards, formats, archetypes that it can be hard to decipher it all. Which information is useful? Which is not, and which is harmful? The guys talk about that and more in this week’s LR!

Hey All,
Luis can't make it on the show this week, and since we have been trying some different things lately (the special episode last week) I thought I'd try something different this week too. I'm going to do the show solo, just me. This isn't meant to be a new thing or anything like that, but I thought mixing it up while we wait for M19 to fully be in gear might be fun.
SO, what I need from you are questions for Marshall. They can be about anything really, and I'll get through as many...

This week on Limited Resources Marshall debuts a very special episode of LR. This episode was entirely post-produced, allowing a much deeper look at a given subject.
Marshall had a chance to talk with Magic Hall of Famers Ben Stark and William “Huey” Jensen about what separates the very best players in the game from the merely great. You’ll get an incredibly in depth view at the moving parts of the elite players of our game.
If you are looking to level up to the very top, you won...

Six one-drop removal spells makes it hard for the opponent to get their feet under them, and resonable finishers like Verix, Garna, and Soul Salvage got the job done.
The saddest part of the deck is that I had two Surveyors and nothing to splash :(
I ran them anyway though, because they are good for making sure you hit your land drops with a relatively high top end, and have a blocker/extendible creature around.
Low end of this deck was very bad, but we got...

This was a fun one, but not super great. Felt like I had to run a little hot to get the trophy, but the deck did have the ability to grind pretty hard.
I was leaning on the Wizard's Retorts pretty hard, and the mana is clearly a bit awkward for the Tempest Djinn. But I viewed the Djinn as a late game finisher, to be cast *after* the six-drops even, where I may be able to protect it with a counterspell.
That's about how things played out. My late game plans were Rona and Slime...

This one was a bit more aggressive than I normally play this color pair, but still very firmly in the midrange camp.
In the finals I faced a very grindy GBu deck so I changed the deck around a lot, prioritizing the evasive threats and cutting the 2 drops that can never seem to actually get through a Slimefoot or similar. I also brought in two copies of Dark Bargain so that I could actually grind against a deck capable of more value.
