OC's Challenge! Round 1 - Erika!

Well, this was an interesting learning experience to go through.

Most of you probably didn't get to see the awful... Just ATROCIOUS W.I.P. I uploaded of this piece before I had to take it down, but MAN, this was a very needed reminder for me to let a couple hours pass before I upload something, because when you spend hours upon hours on the same piece, you may overlook major problems out of sheer tunnel-vision syndrome -.-

Back from Limbo!

Hey guys! Sorry for keeping silent the last couple days.

If any of you follow my twitter, you probably know I had my internet connection severed for five days. The tech guys just left out the door right now, so things are just starting to get back on track.

Anyways, that was all I wanted to say :P I wasn't away because I wanted, I just had no other choice.

News & Upcoming Shenanigans!

Now that the girl's piece is done, we're finally moving to the last phase of Lala's Microgame!

The testers handed back their questionnaries already, and now I'm tailoring a list with the observations. I'll go down the list, one by one, and tweak things here and there.

The preloader's assets are rendering as we speak, so it shouldn't be all that long (some changes pointed out by the testers will probably take a bit to get working, however, since they're not major changes per se, but...

Just a quick heads-up to let you all know the selection process for the animation reviewing team has already been decided, so now all we need is to move onto the testing bit (I'm working on it as we speak) before they can check it, get their feedback, and we'll be golden!

The whole in-between moving from one appartment to another after getting kicked is being a mighty pain in the ass, but just so you guys relax about that, lemme just tell you I found a new place... Which I'll be able to move into at the start of next month.

The Armageddon of the Week

Well... Where to start.

I don't want to bore you with the finer details, but I suppose somewhat of a general explanation is in order so you guys can understand my... Complicated situation.

Alright, so... If you know anything about my country (Argentina), other than our lovely women and fine meat (going for the cliches, heh), is that we have a lovely tradition of going into a deep economic crisis every 15 or so years. And well, turns out that this is the moment such tradition decide...

Alright! This last one was like squeezing a watermelon through my urethra (It was a lot of effort, to put it politely), but finally all main animations are DONE!

Now I'm moving onto the last step regarding animation, which would encompass the following steps:

1) Add the last effects required (some fluids stuff I haven't worked on yet).

2) Double-check each animation to find errors and correct them.

3) Render the final cuts for the programming process.

Now moving to the final one! This one is the tricky one... Not because of length (since I'm not sure if it will take more or less than the rest), but because of mechanics... It's hard to explain, but my point is that I'll soon find out if this will be just a quick breeze or something I'll want to pull my hair off my head xD

Quickie update!

Second animation cycle done! (kinda. The animation itself is finished, I just didn't work on the... Fluids animation part yet. A minor detail I want to leave for after all cycles are done. I tend to make the big work first, then move onto polishing the last details later).

Now it's moving on to the third cycle, which shouldn't be as hard to work with like the second I just made (because it's basically a speed-up of the second cycle, with some adjustments, obviously)...

I was planning on getting the first breathing cycle on a GIF in a day or two, but I've been taking some small FL Studio lessons and now I'm also trying to compose the BGM for Lala's Micro-H Game, so with all things going on at the same time, it may take a little bit longer to get the Sneak Peek GIF.

Don't worry though, the plan is still on it's way to get the GIF when I finish the first presentation cycle. It'll just take a bit more.
