On April 5th, 2022, an Air France Boeing 777 on approach to Paris’ Charles DeGaulle airport encountered serious flight control difficulties. The fate of all 192 people on board rested on the pilots’ ability to regain control of their apparently deranged aircraft. On December 15th, 1989, All four engines suddenly failed on a KLM airlines Boeing 747-400, miles above the Alaskan Wilderness.
