Poppin' Pin-Ups (Wonder Woman) WIP02
Work in Progress No.02 features an adopted retro color palette. The idea is to portray a more "old school" feeling Wonder Woman and I think this palette does it for what we're trying to go for. Still have to add in the repetitive white-star pattern across the lower half of her tiny costume.
From here on out we will be rendering and adding in additional lighting and shadows in order to make this commissioned piece POP....

Turns out that Commissioner #02 was actually talking about Nurse Joy in the brief and I somehow got that mixed up. Regardless, here is WIP02 of this Poppin' Pin-Up. We changed up her hairstyle here, switched the cap and put a Poke-Ball in her mouth. Commissioner wanted her hands tied behind the back of the chair so that she would seem less mobile; we obliged.

Uuuufff! I had a lot of fun painting these. I do think they're the last ones I'll do whilst referencing my own face. There is no doubt in my mind that I'll keep using this gorgeous palette though.
