Notes: My legs are not going behind my head quite yet... but rather than trying to do too much too fast, I'm paying attention to where I feel extra tension, limitation, and imbalance. This is a FIVE minute practice guide to help people fine tune their mobility.

I am starting out the week by targeting the Glutes and Hip Rotation in order to develop more Strength and Agility. I specifically want to have more control in my standing poses, but I also want to have more range in my inner thighs. By targeting the Glutes and External Hip Rotators, the inner thigh muscles are able to stretch with more ease.
It is important to include the stretches after targeting these hip muscles, so do not rubber band back into a tight position.

This is mostly a silent practice, but you can hear in the background that I started by following the Lesson Three routine from Deeper Studies. However, Lesson Three is Handstands... so I re-routed into my own routine.

I hope you all are ready to relax and integrate more from your stretch in your Downward Dog. As an onlooker, this seems so simple but the effect is profound. After you connect to the forces of fascia you'll feel the difference from before and after.

I made this video a week or so ago, when I was still polishing up my editing and camera settings. It was a good practice in yoga and behind the computer.
I know most people probably might not have an aerial fitness area at home but, can you imagine? The effect the aerial silks have, as they drape across the shoulders and wrapped around the upper arms, is security and weightlessness from the center between the shoulder blades.
