Hello there,

I hope you're having a good Christmas. I'm a bit under the weather at the moment - I spent Christmas day in bed with flu and I'm still feeling pretty wretched, so I haven't been able to shoot anything new this week. I did consider making a quick comic about being ill, but I'm just too achy to get up and film it. So here's a photo of me warts and all. And spots. And blood-shot eyes🤧

You may recognise these boots - I've worn them in a few recent comics. For Christmas I wanted to make them a bit more festive, so I destroyed a couple of cheap Santa hats to make some elasticated slip-on furry cuffs.

Now I've got used to them and I think the boots actually look a little naked without them :)

'QR Jumper'

It's Christmas Jumper Day in the UK, so I'd like to share a jumper of a different kind...

This QR code links to a delightful little PICO-8 game called Holiday Jumper. It was made back in 2021 by Zep, the creator of PICO-8 - it's such a great concept and beautifully made.

It's become a Christmas tradition of mine to try and complete this game in one sitting - so far, I haven't quite achieved that, but I'd love to know how far you get in the comments :)

It's been very chilly in the UK this week, so here's a suitably wintery single panel.

I've been watching a lot of Bob Ross recently, and he inspired me to try a painted background featuring some happy little trees🌲🌲

It was fun to experiment with a new style but I'm not sure I like it, so I might have to redraw this in a more traditional comic style ✍️ What do you think?

Happy 90th Birthday King Kong

I adore the original 1933 version of King Kong, so I had to make a comic to mark the 90 year anniversary of this classic movie 🦍

I don't think Kong would be particularly interested in me - everyone knows that gentleman and giant gorillas prefer blondes. I'm sure he'd literally dump me for a larger lady...

Totty Claus: December 1 - 8

Hello-ho-ho there,

Thank you to all that participated in my Totty Claus poll, (North Poll?) on Monday. The result was quite surprising - 72% want to see a daily post, with only 28% prefering to read the comic earlier and in parts.

Well, I don't want to leave anyone out in the cold, so I've made the executive decision to post the first week of panels in one chunk - then from next Friday you'll get a daily post up to Christmas Eve, one day ahead of my socials. Hopefully, this'll kee...

St. Andrew's Day - Pin-Up

'Shocking Sweater'

So, in the UK we call them Christmas jumpers - in the US, I believe they are known as ugly sweaters. Either way, my wardrobe is bursting with them and yet every year I have to buy a new one. The perfect set up for a corny old comic :)

Christmas Comic...

I've been a busy little elf recently, working on a Christmas-themed comic. It's a 50 panel strip that I'll be posting on my socials, broken up into one or two panels every day. This will start on December 1st and conclude on Christmas Eve - it's basically a comic advent calendar :)

The question is...

Would you also prefer to read the comic daily on Patreon, as a countdown to Christmas?

Or would you rather read it in 5 larger parts, posted slightly earlier throughout December...
