Queen Of The Sea - Preview

Hello there!

My first Tale Of Terror is now complete! Next week on Friday 13th, the first part will be posted early, here on Patreon.

Thanks to your generous support, I've been able to hire an audio producer to add a soundtrack to this comic. Mr. Kyle from The Technicolor Theatre Of The Ear has done a wonderful job, helping me bring the story to life. And there will be a voice reveal... kind of :)

This little comic has been a labour of love and I can't wait to share it with ...

Pretty In Pink?

Pink is not my favourite colour and I always avoid wearing it... but after recently donning a pink dress to play Sheila in my D&D comic, I was pleasantly surprised how much the colour popped on camera.

So, I'm just testing this new outfit for a new fall-themed comic. What do you think about pink?

Poll - Vivid Or Vintage

I'm halfway through my 'Queen Of The Sea' comic and I'm starting to output the completed panels - I'm wondering whether to apply a filter to make the comic look more vintage, but I can't decide if I prefer the desaturated look or the original vivid colours. 'Milquetoast'

Here's a silly little strip based on a fun fact I learned just last week. This etymology may be common knowledge in the US, but I'd never heard of this character before and it's been a delightful discovery.

The Timid Soul is a beautifully drawn comic, created by an artist who conquered his disability and didn't give up ✍️

Also, if you haven't tried milk toast, I highly recommend it as an autumnal treat - recipe included. Yum!😋

'Queen Of The Sea' - Work Begins...

Today, I started work on my first 'Tale Of Terror' - here's a sneaky peek at some random panels from part one. This strip will be serialized into 6 parts, each one the length of a regular Totty comic.

The tone will be very different from my usual comics, with lots of melodrama and plenty of spooky shadows. The story is inspired by a 1955 Strange Mysteries comic - I've made a few changes to the plot but I'm planning to keep a lot of the original corny narration and dia...

Dragon's Dungeon - Work In Progress

I've been working on the D&D comic strip for the last few days - it's taking me a little longer than expected due to the extra background details and bits of animation, but it's almost done and should be completed later this week :)

If you voted in my Tales Of Terror poll on Tuesday, thank you for taking part :) The results are in and Queen Of The Sea was the clear favourite, with 69%😊 of the vote. Where Wolf was second with 21% and The Face Of Terror wasn't scaring anyone, with just 10%

Dragon's Dungeon - Bottomless Pit

Here's another completed panel from my interactive D&D comic - I've removed the text to avoid spoilers :)

This is one the perils you'll need to avoid, a bottomless pit - although, I suppose it's not completely bottomless as my bottom's in it!

I'm really trying to push myself with this comic, adding more detail to the backgrounds along with a few looping animations. Hopefully it'll be worth the extra effort :)

Sheila (The Thief) - Character Sheet

Greetings adventurers!

Here's a quick update on my Dungeons and Dragons Sheila cosplay...

I've been fine-tuning a few details and I thought recreating the original Toei Animation character sheet would be a fun way to 'stress test' the outfit from multiple angles.

There are still a few wrinkles I need to iron out, (literally) but I'm fairly happy with how it turned out. The cloak in particular looks great on camera - it catches the light and looks like flowing liquid or some ...

Pin-up - 'Low Hanging Fruit'

Here's the pin-up I was shooting yesterday. As you can see, in the original painting the woman has exceptionally long legs, perfect for apple picking. I on the other hand, rely on exceptionally high heels to reach the low hanging fruit.

Breezy Does It...

So I was shooting a new pin-up photo this morning and I needed a shot of myself picking fruit. There's a little pear tree in  a meadow not far from my house, so I decided to be adventurous and take the photo outside.

However, I didn't factor in the Great British Summer... it was very blustery and my skirt would not behave. Luckily, I don't think there was anybody else around!😊

After about half an hour of messing about in the meadow, I eventually got the shot I needed back ...
