Good News And Bad News
Bad News - The Great Data Transfer (Yes I've given it a name!) broke most of the models I use. Specifically it broke the Optimized models. I use a program called Scene Optimizer to decrease the amount of memory each file uses. This made it easier to create scenes that I could load onto my graphics card for rendering, without crashing my computer. It's a function of the amount of memory on my CPU and Graphics card. I now have more memory on both.

I needed to set up DAZ the way I had it before. It's not 100% there, but it's close enough. I'll fine tune it over time. Everything appears to be working fine. I'm currently working on HFV7. It will be in a restaurant. I'm going to test the system with a bigger scene to see how it handles it. I expect to render 3 pages tonight. Assuming all goes well, I'll then start working on a story for the Plus Tiers featuring some Trans Hucow Ponyplay, Femdom and BDSM. I expect a full week of art.

I'm an idiot. When selecting my new computer, I forgot that I needed to upgrade the hard drive. As a result, I tried to load 4 TB of data into a 1 TB drive. The easiest solution was to just move the old drive to the new computer. The problem is that my old drive was a HDD and my new drive is an SSD. The move didn't go smoothly at all.
Where I am now, is that the drive has been moved and I've reinstalled DAZ Studio and Daz Install Manager. Now I'm in the middle of ...

Now comes the painstaking task of getting it setup. Downloading all the DAZ Studio software is the slowest part. Downloading the program itself is pretty fast. Downloading all of the files is another matter. I expect it to take all night to download everything I purchased from DAZ Studio. After that I have to download everything I've purchased from other sites. On my old computer they're all saved together.

Health Update
I'm slowly feeling better. Last night was my best sleep so far. I woke up feeling reasonably good. The biggest issue is just fatigue. I got 9 hours sleep and still feel tired. Not sleepy, just tired. I'm hoping that by tomorrow I feel good enough to start working on art.

The good news is that I'm feeling a little better. The bad news is that my second covid home test was positive. I have a PCR test scheduled tomorrow. It feels like I'm on the upswing from a bad cold, but still really fatigued. Fortunately I was fully vaccinated and boosted. That seems to have kept it minor. PSA: Get fully vaccinated and boosted. It's the only way we'll be able to live with covid.
