Cover WIP!

ok starting to tighten up the front/back cover spread. whenever I’ve gotten around to thumbing it’s usually late and night when I’m sleepy (eg right now) and am too tired to thumb. Maybe I’ll just keep updating this post as it goes to keep it tidy

Not sure how I feel about showing Achilles / thanatos’ eyes in the cover vs keeping them hidden. Showing their eyes makes them more concrete and less like accessories so perhaps that’s the way it should be since we ride along with...

CHAPTER 1 - Thumbs done...ish

This is from a few days back but Part 1 is thumbed, totaling 22 pages (up from 12 originally, with tight crammed pages). I probably won't think too hard and bother revising these (technically they've been revised twice already). Much more fun when not worrying about page count

I'll probably go through and pencil the rest of it before really moving in, since i love to plan. These didn't take too long, what with not thinking and just doing, so hopefully that can be said for the rest, too<...

Style test

been fiddling around with style, trying to figure out efficiency vs detail, what level of polish is acceptable to me... Might be okay with sketchier, immediate inks and muted tones if it means we get more done faster!!

And so it starts… not gonna worry so much about page count, perfectionism this time since that takes too much brain power trying to fit it all in, and anyway it’s digital I can DO WHAT I WANT!!! anything to make the process easier.

white sheet is the very first thumbs from maybe July, testing out of my script-to-comic page estimate was correct (it wasn’t). Makes the pages too cramped to try and stick with that, so 100+ pages it is babbbyyyyyyyyyyy
