A breakdown in communication lead to this shoot being the second attempt but I’m so glad it happened. These shots are the “extras” after shooting for my exhibition.

Sam had never posed nude before but, keeping the setup simple, we paid homage to his striking looks, full lips an athletic physique. He did a beautiful job and when he smiles, as you can see, his whole face lights up.

Start a Warr!

Holy moly. Every now and then you come across a model who may not be your typical type but that somehow grabs your attention. Hunter Warr is one of those for me. Oh Elordi

Jacob Elordi, the very tall, very gorgeous Australian actor who I think I first saw in the Netflix movie The Kissing Booth. Even though there are tons of Aussies working in Hollywood I'm always really surprised and proud when one does really well.

Federico is coming back!

I got to catch up with Federico at my exhibition last month when he came to see himself hanging on the wall. His powder montage was very popular in the gallery. We have obviously stayed in touch after our shoot last year but we have finally got around to organising another shoot.

When two men are coming to town and you know they have chemistry together and both want to do a shoot, it seems only logical to throw them into a shoot together.

This month the free wallpaper download is a shoot from way, way back in 2009 when I photographed the sexy Kieran in Bronte pool at about 1:30am. There are stories across the ages of people becoming a muse for artists. It's not something I've ever experienced where one person becomes a huge source of inspiration but I do know that there have been models I would work with any time and we would comfortably explore almost any idea.

Not quite my style

Every year on Halloween there are photos that pop up of people going all out with their party costumes and it's so much fun. There are countless examples of really cool themed photo shoots that go with the Halloween vibe. Zombies, demons, devils, day of the dead etc but sadly there's not enough of them that are nude.

Mirrored - Download

This year has absolutely flown by. This shoot with Jim was 6 months ago today and boy was it fun. Watching Jim really come out of his shell and have a lot of fun on a shoot has been really rewarding.

He was in a playful mood this day and we had a lot of laughs in between all the very erotic posing.

This series uses the same technique I used with Mitch a while ago, holding a mirror against the lens. Needless to say twice as much Jim is still not enough.

I moved house this week and when I changed my internet account they said my modem would work in the new building. It turns out that was a lie so I’m without internet in the new apartment for another few days.

It's the dream

When people have asked me over the years if I would ever pursue photography as a full time job, the answer has always been no. The idea of doing what I do full time really appeals but I also don't want to lose the passion for it by having to survive on it and it becoming a chore.

The way I do photography now means I can shoot exactly what I like rather than have to sell my soul and photograph weddings or corporate headshots.

Eight years almost to the day of my first shoot with Mikael in a park just outside of Copenhagen, I found myself back in that amazing city for just one night. I'm the first to admit that most of my shoots, especially the studio shoots are born out of an idea that is purely an exploration of something I think will look good. Rarely do I start with a deep meaningful concept that I find a visual way to represent. That does happen occasionally but it's not my general idea.

It's been just over a week since the Manyone exhibition finished and to say I'm happy with the response would be a huge understatement. Opening night was packed with friends, family and supporters who came to see the images that I'd been banging on about for a year. That and the free drinks.
