OTV this month

So last month I said I was spending the time going back into the planning stages, and I got a good bit done. No thumbnail drawings unfortunately, but I did plan out the rest of the story in greater detail, and hoo boy. It looks like there will be (approximately) 17 chapters all together. That can still change in the future. So there's still quite a bit yet to go for the story. Not even halfway there.

Now I'll be focusing on starting Chapter 6 this mon...

OTV goals

So while I'm getting back into the swing of things for OTV, to start off at least, the pages won’t be coloured. It will be in a black and white style with cross-hatch type shading similar to my “Slice of Undertale Life” comics. Some important panels or pages may have colour and shading added to it, but not always. I haven’t decided if I will include animated panels or not. Again, it will depend.

Hey there! I'm terribly sorry for the lack of updates on here. Life has been quite hectic on my end. Including a slipped disc in my back that I'm still healing from. Luckily it seems to be healing well.

Unfortunately for a few reasons, I struggled to continue with my own personal projects that I would have been posting more progress stuff here.

Deltarune Chapter 2

Decided to do some proper fan art for Deltarune chapter 2! Had a blast drawing each character! I wish I could have added other monsters, but I ran out of steam.

I've included separate images of each character (And bananas), as well as the photoshop file if anyone is interested in seeing how everything is put together!

Spyro Animation: Storyboards

Here's the storyboard! I hope it's all clear enough.

39 scenes. That's a fair bit, heh. Though I specifically tried to reuse as many backgrounds and reusable animation as I could.

Details may change here and there as I work through it.

Next I'll be putting it together in a story reel with maybe some crude sound FX haha. I may also do a test animation.

Spyro animation concept

Spyro Character Lineup

Here's a little teaser for the upcoming Spyro animated short!

I'm still coming up with the beats of the story, while also trying to make this as simplistic as possible. Kind of a stretch, considering how many characters there are, haha. But it'll mainly only focus on Spyro. The baby dragon doesn't come in until later in the animation, and that bird will rarely move, haha. I'll probably reuse a lot of animation for Sparx.

Well, looks like a Spyro animation won the majority vote by quite a bit! Thanks for voting!

I'll try not to 'over achieve' too much on this animation, haha. First things I'll probably do is a couple character studies/sketches. I'm not entirely sure if I want to go for exact accuracy of the Reignited design like the YCH animations, or mix a bit of my own style.

I'll probably also write down some 'beats' of the short story. ^^

Choose the Next Animation I'll work on

Thank you so much to everyone who continued to support me after putting a hold on my comic, I really appreciate your kindness!

What I'm going to work on now is a new short animated project ^^ I'll be posting updates on here as often as I can each month! Which may include possible designs, storyboards, animatic, test animation. But it will include keyframes, roughs, cleanup, flat colours, simple or detailed shading, and backgrounds.
