The idea of offering a collector's box with each Black Roses deck began with the Black Roses Altrosa Edition in 2019. One BRSC member wrote to me, hoping to still be able to get an empty box from me. For this reason, I had a small number of boxes re-produced. I figured some of you probably don't have this box in your collection either and would like to complete it.

A few days ago I bought an old "well used" Great Mogul Playing Cards deck on ebay for under 3€. As you can see in the image, the court cards already have the standard design that USPCC uses today. I couldn't find out the exact production year of the deck. Either 1938 or 1958 - vintage in any case and you can see the vintage touch in every detail. I've wanted to redesign vintage style faces for a long time and thanks to this deck I finally put the idea into action.

Dear Patrons, I have decided not to release the purple Black Roses before the 10 Year Anniversary Edition. In terms of the 10 year edition, another deck in between feels like a gap filler on which I can not fully concentrate and obviously I don't want that.

Although the cards are still in the final stages of production, I have already received the collector's boxes today. Since I don't have a completion date yet, I unfortunately can't say when the cards will be available. Optimistically thought I hope for mid-April. The collector's box also won't cost a single cent more than 4 regular decks.

Today I started working on the Excel list for the Innocence fulfillment. Besides that I thought about the edition name of the purple Black Roses - "Purple Rhapsody". In terms of phonetics, I like the name a lot. It only feels a little foreign. But I'm almost certain I just need to let it sink in first - like the purple color on the court cards. I realized that these colors are necessary to capture the right vibe of the deck.

I started finding new colors for the court cards yesterday but I quickly realized that I am most satisfied with the standard colors. For some reason this purple on the courts give the whole deck a more negative/dark vibe that I definitely don't want to have in my deck. Anyway, it's not to 100% my final decision yet. Beauties, I finally got my Innocence coins today and I'm relieved at how they turned out.
You can add the Gold Innocence Coins to your pledge now. I can't offer the gold coins as regular Kickstarter add-on, since I don't want that everyone can get them. So we simply do it with the optional "bonus support" field. Under "manage your pledge" and "change your pledge" you'll find a field that says "Bonus support (optional)".

What an incredible number when you think about it. It's a new milestone...
I didn't really sleep very long today and am plagued by fatigue. However, I wanted to show you what beautiful ideas can be implemented even in this state :D I'm working on the final touches of the Pink Black Roses Vintage Casinos.
There is one thing I have never seen on a custom deck before - a little text with a guarantee. So I had to do it and it fits perfectly on the back of the extra card with the Black Roses Casino sign.
Whenever I need a ruler, there is none available. But playing...
The project is getting closer with big steps and I still haven't decided 100% how many gilded decks there will be and in which color. But you can be sure that blue is going to be a thing.
