Bookshop boy rendering time-lapse

Total rendering time: 6 hours.

I thought it was interesting to see how it goes from a sketch to a finished illustration.

Most of it was done with hard brush and fill on a normal layer .

Cleaning up the lines and defining the volumes is the most important thing at this stage, lastly the atmosphere of the environment.

The final impression must be clean and the different elements well defined.

Good Morning, my Angel - Timelapse tutorial

I don't usually repaint drawings, but I never considered this one finished... it was a very dirty sketch and I finally managed to make a decent rendering!🥹

It's still one of my favorite pieces and I definitely want to print it in large format! 🤭

This week I went to my city's Comicon with two variations of Crowley.
