The Daedalus Street has been described as a labyrinth akin to the dungeon, even in the anime the navigation was shown as such, so I thought "Why not use the current dungeon crawling system, but for a town level instead?" and here it is.
Performance-wise it is OK for now, while the geometry is actually lesser than the average dungeon floor, there are way too many draw calls for my liking, and the (dynamic) sky is a little heavy on the CPU, so I may have to tune it down eventually.

Currently some characters such as Hestia have a pose for each emotion (Happy, angry, sad...) but also alternative sprites (such as Hestia wearing a dress) with a single pose, just minor alterations to their facial expression.
Having a single pose with only variations in their facial expression would allow me to lower the build's size by around 200mb, and future sprites would have a lesser impact on the build's size.

I have been made aware of an issue with the aspect ratio recently, unfortunately I was under the wrong impression that the game scaled automatically (which partially happens when compared to the older versions of Unity), but that doesn't cover all the aspect ratios other than the native one (16:9 in this case).

Airmid will make an appearance in R4, and her role in the game will be more of doctor, to avoid her role to overlap with Naaza.
So while Naaza will sell potions and other remedies, Airmid will be the doctor that will patch you up.

Download only if you want to see the overhaul or if you are playing for the first time, no new content has been added.
If you see no thumbnail in your save slots, that is normal. R2 saves are supported.
If you load them, then save again, the thumbnail will show up.

Among the current features, the battle system was one of the most incomplete ones.
As of R2, only goblins exist, and only one at a time can appear, making the whole experience quite static.

The music variety when compared to Overlord H is huge, while it has fewer tracks right now, they are less likely to repeat and fit the scenes more. This has not changed.
What was missing so far were sounds (UI, and other dialogue related ones, such as Ais cutting down the minotaur), and those were recently added to all the existing and new UI. However, that is not all... I have also added a new audio setting: Ambience.

Last time I had improved the lighting, and while it made quite the difference visually, the dungeon itself was still quite "poor".
The floor did not quite fit, neither did the ceiling and for the most part everything was flat and boring.
The main problem is that the dungeon (at least in these floors) do not have much else other than rocks and lights. No roots, no vegetation, and no man-made stuff.

The focus of R3 will not be adding new content, but overhauling and improving what is currently there: Sounds, dungeon, battle system, adding a gallery, and so on.
Currently the bare bones are there, but it needs the extra details to make it feel less of a concept and more of a game.
R3 will be adding a few scenes to finally complete what is covered in the first episode, with one of those three routes taking you all the way to the sixth floor on a new main story quest.

After thinking about events I might add to fill the dungeon yesterday, I came up with some... A good part of them cannot happen so early in the story, so I will keep them for a late use.

I have finished all the content for R2 today, so the build is theorically ready.
The catch is that the stuff happening inbetween where you left off in R1 and where the content in R2 starts involves the dungeon, which is still not complete.
This is not a really big issue as the gameplay can be skipped, in fact I do plan to add a difficulty setting in future to let people play a visual novel only, without the dungeon crawling elements.

I just finished putting the last touches to the indoors of the Hostess of Fertility pub after adding a bunch of characters that will be introduced in R2 (So far, 11 new characters, including Riveria shown in the screenshot above).

It is kind of unfair calling it "old" since no one visited the first floor yet, but while rewatching the anime for the umpteenth time, I noticed the floors are much darker than what is shown in the game.

The maps for the floors 1 to 4 are done, while structurally similar to the 5th floor, they have a different hue.
In R2 you will get to explore those floors as part of the main storyline: When entering, you will be presented with a big open space (as shown in the screenshot above), this is known as the "Beginning Road" where beginners train.

I have just finished creating a scene replayer for the game, initially I wanted it to look the same as the gallery, but I had a few issues along the way...
Some of the older scenes were not thought with a scene replayer in mind, making them impossible to be replayed, if not with some editing (Which may lead to bugs);
Then there are some characters with many SFW CGs, but few NSFW ones, meaning having a category for them would be a big waste (The replayer is for NSFW scenes only).
