April Flash Focus Poll

The 50th Anniversary month is upon us!

Here's a lookback over the updates this past month:

Saber Flash Belt Update 3/22

Working on the coding for Saber's Legend Rider books. While I only have sounds for a very few of them right now, I have the code straightened out. So that's a positive.

I've attached a WIP for it. In the menu for the WRB on the Swordriver, the buttons next to the 01 books are the Legend placeholders. Using them together will work which is pretty much all thats set up for them.

Zero-One Flash Belt Update 3/21

1.95: Japanese Wolf updated to have all sounds. One version with Vulcan's keys and one in the Zetsumerise key section. Crowding Hoppers added. The finishers and shot/slash riser standby sounds are different. Blue menu background for shot and red for slash. This was to match both the shot and slash risers and 2 of the Abaddon colors...

Saber Flash Belt Update 3/11

The vector for the opened cover of Saikou's book is done. I'm working on the closed version right now. Much like the story page this will use transparency when it gets to flash.

Zero-One Flash Belt Update 3/10

Recolored the eden driver unit. It's also plugged in and coded, but I still need good sounds for the Eden key. I have some, but between Eden and Lucifer I'm missing quite a few. I've reached out to sound rippers to try and get it done.

For now I also have the eden unit as a button in the top right with the rest of the units but I need to make a menu with how many they've made.

Colors and such done on the henshin page and story page (spine doesn't have colors yet though). The story page will also be a bit transparent to blend it in. Once the full book is complete I'll be adding the tiny lil bits that connect the pages to the spine.

I finished the vector for the Eden Driver unit today. I'll recolor soon. Also did the vector for the scorpion inside the ark scorpion key. Cut the ripped sounds for AS as well. Gotta find some good eden sounds.

.991: Added the Saikoudriver. Few bigger books added to the scan options. Beta book in place for the Saikoudriver.

Once henshined, use the handle to slash and the hinge on the blade for finishers/shadow.

Saber Flash Belt Update 3/3

Got most of the opened story page (aka half of the henshin pages) done. Biggest problem is the stupid glittery green plastic. Bleh.

I just keep workin on this vector when I need to go I'll tighten up the code for the beta for the public x.x

I've finished the recolor of the driver and did the background for shadow. I've also attached an updated beta. I'll do a little more cleaning up of the code before releasing it to the public.

Here's a Saikou beta. In the driver menu at the bottom click jaaku twice.

Since the button to trigger the finishers is hidden behind the books in the sword I've decided to use the joint for the blade as the trigger for the finishers and shadow. Also since the trigger for the sword is covered I just have the whole handle of the sword clickable for the slash sound, which at least for now is just the tail end of the Gold/Silver henshin sound.

Saber Flash Belt Update 2/25

Getting there on the saikou vector. Still need to get the center and blade down but almost. Keep getting hit by doctor appointments and being wiped out :/

Kinda funny, last month I was so bogged down with Saber and trying to figure out how the heisaber would work and this month it took a bit to get the heisaber done and it bogged me down from doing Saber.

Once the driver is done I'll do a beta book and come back to that vector later. Really need to get this driver out.

Zero-One Flash Belt Update 2/17

Ark One is almost done. I've attached a rough beta of the key. Most of it is done, including sounds, background, and functions. However, I've still gotta tune the colors and fix it up from being Thouser's key when it comes to the ability stuff. Also need to pop it into the weapons.

Getting close. After this update is out I'll do saikou.

Zero-One Flash Belt 2/16

Ark Zero/Zero One progrise key is chugging along. Again, I'm using the ark zero one key's reference images since it's a bit easier to see the white details than the black ones. The hardest bit are the details in the bottom right of the base of the key.

Working on the vector for... well for Ark One, but the images for Ark Zero-One make it easier to see the details on the key than the images for Ark One. The helmet is bout done. The tiny details on the main body are always "fun."

Gonna knock out Ark One before moving back over to Saber.

Saber Flash Belt Update 2/3

I've finished the recolor in flash for king lion. I've got the pieces set so the pages turn and stuff but the functions aren't all set. Also cut the sounds up for Lion. Thankfully the Discord has been working with me to get some better sounds.

Saber Flash Belt Update 2/2

Got the vector fully recolored and I've been working on importing it to Flash.

As a reminder due to me having to bring it from Freehand, to Illustrator, to Flash I have to go through and realign the colors back to what I had em in Freehand. Can take a bit. Like obviously I'll have it done by today but just time consuming.

Feb 2021 Flash Focus Results

The Heisaber and Zero-One will join Saber as the flash focus this month. I'll hopefully be able to wrap up the Heisaber and knock out some nice things on Zero-One.

King Lion is coming along for Saber so I'll be moving on to Saiko after it's done.
