February Flash Focus Poll

Been really busy with events and work this week. I really want to work on Thouser, but haven't had the time :/ Whenever I get a small moment throughout the day I do a line of code for the Progrise Key side of the driver. So all of the really small moments and work can add up.

If a selection other than Zero-One is chosen, the focus will be both the selected option and Zero-One since it is the ongoing series.

Thousand Update

Still trying to push through the vectors of the open driver doors. I have the coloring still to do. Once it's done I'll release a beta for the driver with regular looking Keys for the driver and then later make the vectors for the two.

Thousandriver

Been waiting for the sounds to be ripped for thouser. I’ve been workin on his driver in the meantime. I have almost a quarter done but because of the way the driver is done I’ll be able to copy it up and across and it’ll be done after the full quarter is done. Then I’ll recolor it for lighting.

Force Riser - Edit

Edit: Gonna take a lil break for an hour or so and then move on to recoloring. Yellow bits are most likely their final colors. However, the silver and black, aka the majority of the Riser, are not.

Computer was a bit fussy about the metal pattern, but I knocked it out.

Quite thankful for the holiday season and impeachment hearings. Gives me a bit more time off and lets me focus my energy on the flashes. Glad I've been able to knock out the Shot Riser and (soon) Force Riser.

December Flash Focus

Thanks to the focus on Zero-One this month I've been able to knock out the Zetsume Riser, Shot Riser, and upgrade the Progrise Key vectors.

Now it's time to help select which flash will be the focus for December. If a selection other than Zero-One is chosen, the focus will be both the selected option and Zero-One since it is the ongoing series.

Update: Coding is underway. I have one part of the Progrise Key insert done. Once the second is done I will work on the switch between gun and belt modes.

Shot Riser WIP 2

Edit 2: Mk the gun part is done. Still have to do the belt section and then I'll do the recoloring, then coding. While the clear parts appear simply white-ish they have details underneath. Again, with the program I'm using the transparency doesn't carry over well to  Illustrator and then Flash so I wait until I'm in Flash to add it.

Next Zero-One Update

I've added the details to the Progrise Keys, so now it's time for the next project. I've started working on the vector for the Shot Riser. I'm starting in the middle where the red stripe is and I'm moving out from there. Hopefully I can get the vector done before the week is over.


I also have most of Buffalo's details done for when it releases.

Menu Update 11/15

I’ve been working to redo the menu for zero One but when I tried it with the button layout I used for weapons it was kinda awkward.

So I’ve made a new version where the buttons are roughly as big as the weapon ones except they’re horizontal. It allows for 12 keys per page which is up from 11 for the weapon layout.

The updated menu will release after I do a few more logos and progrise key covers. I finished the alphabet yesterday before bed so I can work on adding font today....

Progrise Key Template Update

Finished and colored the progrise key template. In the Flash, I tried to balance the opacity of the plastic so that we could see the individual key's back color, yellow for rising hopper, but it didn't dilute the black plastic too much.

Zero-one Update 11/11

- Update -

Couldn't go back to sleep after a few hours so I finished the vector for the back half of the progrise key. Just have to do finer details of the front part and then recolor both pieces.

I plan on having everything that's grey as at least slightly transparent so the key's specific color can shine through. I can't do that in Freehand though because when it's transferred to Illustrator and then Flash it will freak out.

Zero One Update 11/8

With the launch of the Zetsume Riser another big box is checked for the flash. My next update will likely be for the Progrise Key template. This way I can get that updated before the list grows too big. That way I can also change up menu if I want to.

Zetsumeriser

Vector is done and coloring comes next.

I also created a new way for the menu to operate and retrieve which buttons needed to be recalled. Before, I would have to list the buttons on 2 versions of the menu button, one for if the menu was closed and one for if it was open, any arrow button where you move page to page, and any section button where the collectibles were divided. Now I've created a new element titled Menu_Recall so I can have the list centralized and just have anywhere call...

Risers

Been working on the Zetsumeriser vector. It won’t be a crazy interactive driver and doesn’t have moving pieces so it should be faster to knock out. It does have lots of tiny details though.


Shotriser will likely follow.

01 Flash Belt Update

Have a working beta. I'm able to select Rising Hopper, press it, scan, insert, henshin, and use the regular finisher. Working on adding the multiscan finishers and power down. Once those are working I'll add more Progrise Keys and the flash intro.


Worked to futureproof the driver from what we know. I have a second standby/henshin/finisher set all ready to go for when the add-on is introduced.

I’ve redone the driver two times. I’ve been unsatisfied with how it keeps coming out based off of the reference pictures. I feel it will have a negative effect that will trickle around once the hazard trigger-esque attachment is made later on.


I’ve started to redo it again with a combination of the older reference images and the instruction pdf.

ZI-O 9/9 Update

Been working on the Beyondriver screen. First white head base I made didn’t fit the images. Believe the second one I made will.

Having to transfer everything to my new computer so I can continue to work. The old one started blue screening after a windows update.

I believe after I’m done with the screens I’ll move on to doing the Zero One beta. Good news is I’ve already coded it mentally so it should only be a matter of putting it together.

Weapon Ridewatches

Worked on the code for the weapon ridewatches. So the ZI-O watch works. Next comes all of the coding for the menu buttons. It isn’t hard it’s just very time consuming.

ZI-O Update 8/29

Been working on the Zikan Girade. The most difficult part was definitely getting the parts of the characters to line up to spell sword and gun.

Dunno if I'll be doing weapons for Zero-One. They're so time consuming to do. I could've done so many ridewatches in the time it took me to vector this out.
