MLP - Welcome, Sunset Shimmer (WIP)

Due to some personal reasons and some paperwork, this took me more time than the usual. I'm depending on vectors so I can play with the light and the occlusion later with zero problems.

Things I'll add:
-Shadows
-Occlusion (desaturated purple or blue)
-light (smooth orange from the background)
-A window and some curtains
-Blush effect
-Refining Celestia's hair

MLP - Welcome, Sunset Shimmer (unclean lineart)

This is gonna be the next drawing. Celestia was waiting for Sunset to come back because she wanna have a good night with her.

She's supposed to hold a glass of wine, but there's a line in Celestia's right arm that needs to be fixed.

I was trying to come up with a drawing the whole morning, I ended up making three sketches and the first two didn't look good. Then I thought "maybe Celestia would wait for Sunset". Finally I decided to make the third one.

MLP - Celestia and Sunset in the spa

I've finally finished this one.

I have to admit: Making the brightness of this one was really complicated. When the drawing was almost finished, I noticed that the two girls have a cyan tone on their skins, which wasn't very appealing. So, to fix that, what I did was giving them a slight red tone. I think it works.

Another WIP of this. I think it will be ready for tomorrow.

-More shadows, not only for Celestia
-Refine the areolas
-More details for the bath and the wall from the background
-More details for the water (sweet brightness and thin shadows)

I had some problems with the light, mainly because I had a layer that was supposed to be the light focused on the couple. The problem was that it was like they had a lamp on the celing. So I deleted it and made the light from where it should be.

The shadow on the bed sheets were made judging by the sketch I've made. If I hadn't had that reference, the result would have been very different.

MLP - My parents aren't home

This is a drawing I've made about Tempest receiving a call from Twilight saying a line most of us would love to hear.

Tempest as a royal guard of Equestria was something I've been wanting to make for months, but to me she has to be the personal guard for Twilight. In order to do that I've picked the colors from Twilight's dress.

Then I've desaturated the magenta and pink colors.

MLP - My parents aren't home (sketch)

This is gonna be the next drawing. Twilight and Tempest are talking with their cellphones and the princess says her parents aren't home.

The design for Tempest's armor was inspired by different references. The armor from old Rome, the guards of Celestia in Friendship is Magic and Brigitte's armor from Overwatch. The little spiral from the arm part of the armor is a little detail based on the trend of using spirals from the Disney movie Hercules.

More shipping for Tempest and Twilight! <3

This one took me more time than the expected because I wanted to play with the colors and the blue and orange tone. I thought that making Tempest to play a guitar would be interesting for the character.

For this one I refined the occlusion layer in order to make this sunset work. Before the final result the occlusion wasn't as dark as I wanted, so I changed it a little bit so the characters can be more visible compared to the background...

MLP - Two students one teacher and a beach

I've been having this in mind for months and I wanted to do it. Twilestia is fine, but  a third person might be enjoyable.

Anyway, here we have Twilight and Sunset having fun with Celestia at the beach. The sky is orange, they are mildly in between the wet sand, the thin layer of the ocean and the love is intense.

I think you'll see the final result tomorrow if I don't have any problem.

MLP - Tempest playing the guitar (sketch)

This is not going to be the next drawing. I'm working on a NSFW fanart (specifically about Twilight, Celestia and Sunset Shimmer) which will be the next one, but I thought I could show this one.

For some reason I find interesting that Tempest Shadow plays a musical instrument. Then I thought a guitar would make her interesting.

If I don't have problems today, you'll see a work in progress of the next drawing.

Here's another drawing. Sorry that I haven't shown a work in progress of this. I had to deal with some personal problems.

This is based on the Wolverine's photo meme, so I thought that I could do something with this idea.

I wanted to put a pillar in the second panel, but it didn't look good, so I deleted it.

The occlusion and the shadows were a bit difficult in this one, but I hope you like the final result. While I was making the ocean and the sky, I noticed that they were cyan, so I applied a layer where they would be blue.

MLP - Tempest is here

Here's a new drawing! This is a rearrange of the first appearance of Tempest Shadow in the MLP film.

For the background I wanted to use a couple of images as textures: Wood and steel. It's not very noticeable (at least from my computer), but I've painted layers of desaturation, colors and etc to make it look different.

Busy for a month (sketches compilation)

For personal reasons I can't be making fanart while at the same time I'm doing some homework anymore, at least this month. So I'm gonna be entirely focused on the homework and the final works I have to polish and finish. I'm also going to live in another building with no Internet this week.

So... no Internet for a month.

Anyway, wish me luck. Hopefully I'll finish everything and I'll get a piece of paper that says "yeah this dude knows how to do graphic design".

MLP - This is awkward for Tempest

New drawing. This time is Tempest putting sunscreen on Twilight's back, something that Celestia and Pinkie don't seem to like.

This is based on a comment I've read in DeviantArt that says Celestia and Pinkie wouldn't approve Tempest being with Twilight. I'm aware that fanart doesn't have to make any sense, but my first reaction was "Oh my god, I've never thought of that!". xD

MLP - This is awkward for Tempest (WIP)

This is a work in progress of the next drawing. Tempest puts some sunscreen on Twilight, something that Celestia and Pinkie don't like.

I'd like to point out that I've tried to refine the bodies of Celestia and Pinkie. But, after some hours of work, no matter how much time I needed, it looked weird. So, I decided to refine just their heads. This is probably the main difference between this and the sketch.

MLP - Your movie sucks!

This is a new drawing I 've made.

At the point of writing this, the My Little Pony film has a 47% in Rotten Tomatoes. That percentage was the reason why I've made this. But I don't take it too serious, don't get me wrong. As much as I loved the movie, I understand the disappointment of some people.

In a way, I like that some people are disappointed with this film because they feel what I've felt about some decisions related to the show. I think empathy is the key of all this.
