HELLO EVERYONE! I have a small update on the plasma cutter! after installing the larger servos, THEY BLEW UP THE PICO!!! hahaha after doing some research I found out that the amp draw and the electrical noise from the servos running was frying the puck converter on the pico’s. so a small set back :D
thankfully I think I have found a solution :D after doing some research I have found a servo board that looks like it will solve the issue!!! woohoo!

HELLO EVERYONE!!! today I have an update on the plasma cutter!!! THIS ONE HAS BEEN BRUTAL!!! so what’s been happening with this model? :D
After completing V1 of this model it got to the test print and sadly failed! I originally designed a mechanism that was too complicated and did too much the outer plates originally moved up then out!!! it was really cool but absolutely insane!! it was also too flimsy and had too much flex. :(
so on to V2!! and was working ALL THE WAY UP ...

in March my grandmother died which was brutal but I was able to get threw it. sadly it hit my grandad much harder. due to the stress of everything as well as a mistake on his prescriptions he ended up hospitalized, thankfully he is out of the hospital now and is recovering! :D but is no longer able to do basic chores and needs help.
