In winter, when it gets really cold, the middle knuckle on my right hand turns a bit blue, and a speck of pain comes back from last year. It's a good reminder.

Look. One night I couldn't sleep and this new idea for a potential erotic comic came up and I had to write it down, okay?
Might be something that happens for a Slipshine pitch, might be something else, or nothing at all, as I already have enough comics to work on already...!

So here's an interesting thing that can easily happen when I draw out the bones of the strip!
Compare this with the last panel of strip #1171:
You can spot the difference in Roomie's pose and expression.
While I liked the fact that pose #1 was different from the others and gave a more dynamic feel to it, it just didn't suit the kind of punchline I wanted.
It actually took me several tries ...

I had long hair I liked to force into a Tim Burton mess back then, and found the username "Saikoh" to go along with it.
This was for a comic punchline assignment back when I was in art school. One of the rare times I had the teachers' approval! (They also forced us to only use traditional nib pens and brushes to ink. Which had its use... and complaints.)

Follow up of that last post, this was a little research for a character design for the hidden tumblr blog "VulgaVulva", which was supposed to be filled with the dark and gorey side of being a person with monthly bloodfests OvO
I feel it could still be an interesting idea, but I don't know if I'll have the time and energy to pursue this any further. So here's little bits and chunks of it here, and we'll see!

This happened sometime last summer, and I drew it out about two months ago?
I think I moved past it since then, but at that moment I did think about it often. How can you protect someone who refuses help? What could you have done even if they had accepted the help, in front of someone who seemed to be ready to hit hard, when no one else was around that night? Thoughts and questions, and no one answer.
I'll continue practicing Systema just in case :>

There's less than usual because I had a one week break in-between chapters, but here are the GGaR strips done in October 2018.
It's only when doing these kind of posts that I realize how much I do in one month. Like, physically but also emotionally wise...! It's not always easy (though I never regret the challenges it bring).
I could be proud of myself a little more often.
