Compared to my other arrangements this section is quite basic, but it's not easy, and give a really cool look into the root of arranging and percussive playing.

Hope you guys are doing well. Finally I managed to upload the analysis of my arr. of the interlude (ballad section) from Master of Puppets.
One thing I sadly forgot to mention in the video is that while arranging the melody against the bass/guitar line, I didn't really care much to stay in the "correct" octave melody, but rather played in any octave that's above the bassline. Here's another exercise I used to do a looot, and still use now. It is designed to help with hand synchronization and correctly alternating your right hand fingers.
While playing a lot of people tend to try to repeat successive strokes of the same finger, which is a mistake 99% of the time. Carlos Piñana taught me this exercise and I did it religiously through the whole fretboard. When I was 16-18 I started every practice session with it.

Here's another of my favorite exercises. It's kind of a unique one because it's super short and seems pretty simple on the outside. The only goal of the exercise is to flex your left hand tendons like a gymnast flexes during a performance - so that you can play big streches with your hand.

I've recorded 4 or 5 very challenging exercises which I used (and still use) to get better in my style.

For a while now I wanted to make a brief description of how I produce the backgrounds & beats for my singles, but I could never find the time to do it.
I finally sat down to record a breakdown of my session for Kashmir today, albeit with some technical problems. The audio from the session had to be recorded in mono, so you can't hear any panning or general stereo coolness 😭 That being said you all know the track, so if it sounds a little worse on the technical side here that does...
