I've started drawing huge panning backgrounds that I can crop and place as I please. It's an hour or two of work but then I can reuse the image as much as i need. Maybe later I will make a daytime version as well! The first image was my first attempt, but something about it I didn't like. The colors muddied together and didn't please me. i LOVE this panel's background and just had to share hehehe. i'm getting really into the color blocking style of backgrounds with minimal colors and basic shading. it's simple but affective, i really want to make a video sharing more of how I do them!
