This Week's Cover (Slight Remaster Download)

I wanted to fix some more of the mixing. I also realized the song was super quiet compared to others. So here's a slightly redone version!

(2/2) Making a FANCY Castle Theme

This one was a little different from what I usually do, but I'm very happy with how it came out for a first attempt. The song itself was inspired by an area in my video game idea (something I hope I can share more of in the future with you guys). I was not expecting the viewership I got on this one. I assumed only a few people would be interested, but I'm very happy to have been wrong. I hope you all enjoyed!

(1/2) Making Music with an Instrument Name Generator

This month didn't have too much as I've been working on commissions and just taking more small breaks (rather than a month). It lead to a pretty fun idea as seen in this video! I came up with some song ideas I plan to turn into full songs as well. I'm very happy with the success it's had and I'm already working on some future parts, which you will recieve downloads for of course :)

Pretty happy with the backing track on this one. Finally learned some slap bass!

PAP MAR. Yep. The soundtrack has become my favorite soundtrack of 2020 and this song just happens to be...one of my new favorite songs ever. This was a good learning experience! Not for making rock covers, but for composition techniques and arrangements. I'd love to write a song more like the original one day!

Plans for this Week

Had to delay last week but I have a few ideas that I've been working on and completing! First of all, I will be bringing the waltz-y castle theme out. It's a new style I'm delving into and I'm pretty happy with how it's coming out! I also completed part two of the "making music with a random instrument generator" series last night. I'm also working on a BOTW cover. Still in the arrangement phase. It'll either be Revali's Theme or the Guardian Theme.

ALSO I appreciate the suggestions an...

Plans for this week

Kind of a tough one. Mainly because I don't really have any ideas I could do in just a week's time at the moment. But I have two things planned. One would be a waltzy kingdom-type theme I've been working on. It's a different style I haven't written in before and I love how it came out. If I can't finish that in time, I was thinking of doing a video game cover again. Maybe even something from Breath of the Wild again? Any big recent games you wanna see covers from?

Either way, that's all...

All of the songs from yesterdays video (Free Downloads)

These aren't DEFINITE ideas, but they are still ideas I'd like to work with nonetheless. Especially Area Ideas 1 and 3. I figured I could rework the mini game idea into something involving the chapter with the restaurant dungeon idea where you cook or something. Maybe. Either way, I hope you enjoy!

Plans for this week + Suggest some ideas if you have any :)

Still having a hard time coming up with some stuff right now, mainly because I want to take more time with my originals (for obvious reasons). So I have a few idea for this week if I can do any:

"Making Songs with an instrument name generator" - I'm working on the title, but I basically found a site that generates a list of 5 instruments. I'd try to make a short song with those instruments and uh...I'd keep going :') If it works out, I can make this series into multiple parts maybe.

Got some idea I've been working on. Thought I'd should share some of them and process of me building on top of a basic idea!

Snow White and the Seven Deadly Sins (Guitar/Bass Tabs)

This was highly requested and I have no idea why more than one person wanted this. Well...that's what I thought at first, but then I realized that some of these riffs are pretty damn fun. I've been meaning to make a new song with them (leaving out the comedic parts). To those who don't know, this was an April Fool's song meant to play with the stereotypes of "Scene Core". The joke song ended up having some pretty snazzy riffs. I hope you enjoy these tabs while I pump out a future song includi...

Making a Video Game Theme on BeepBox.co (3/3)

I did not expect this program to be so flexible and amazing. It's way more powerful than this video leads on and I'd honestly recommended for a fun change of pace. The "wackyness" of it might help inspire new ideas, as it did for me! You guys have heard the demo version for "House Down Under", but I can't wait to finish it up and show everyone. I hope you enjoyed!

Attempting to Make a Field Theme in 10 Min (2/3)

I brought back this series for a small return! I don't plan on doing much more of these (if any), but they do help get the creative juices flowing sometimes. I actually have a legitimate field theme coming up (which you guys will be able to hear first), so I hope you look forward to that!

Making a Jazzy Chaotic Boss Theme (1/3) [Rewards Coming After This]

After a lot of musician's block, I have to say, I'm incredibly happy with how this came out. Not only is it a genuine favorite, but I managed to make it sound pretty much exactly how it sounded in my head. Artists will know how amazing that feeling is. It's also one of my most successful videos and songs in awhile too! So thank you for all of the support on this one!

This Week's Song + a Bonus Song (Free Early Download)

So here is the song I made in BeepBox BUT I am also working a redone version for my game idea. A full fledged original. It's almost complete, but I figured I've give you guys a big sneak peek. Hope you enjoy!

Once the redone song is finished, I will provide the backing track!

Plans for this week

After multiple requests, I finally decided to try making a song on the free browser-based music making program "beepbox.co". It turns out it's genuinely amazing and has a WIDE variety. I made a song I was so happy with that I decided to remake it as well. I'm not sure if the remade version will be in the video yet, but you guys will be able to hear both versions this week! I might even return to this program

Plans for this week

If things go well, I should finally be releasing my song "blight"! There is an unmixed sample below. I finally started figuring the messy parts in the mix (it was mainly the percussion). I still have some things to change up, but now I have a pretty good idea of that to do. I hope you look forward to it! (Gotta make some changes to the bass synth)

A solo from a new song I'm working on

So I've been caught up with a commission (another anime one. gonna need to get that commission vid out so people hire me for other genres :'D) and I'm slowly getting the structure down. I have this super rough solo idea I thought I'd share. Very rough, so expect some mistakes and sloppiness, but I figure I'd show you guys something that I'm doing this week. I'll send the full idea once I have a concept down!

(3/3) - Making My Own K.K. Slider Song

It seems like the Animal Crossing hype just kept going! There was actually supposed to be an original song in-between, but I just couldn't get it to sound right. Hopefully soon! This video has only been out for about 1-2 days and is already seeing a ton of success. I'm so happy people enjoyed it! It's a lot of fun to just chill out with a simple program like this one (compared to the complexity of other programs). I hope you all had a good time with this one :)

(2/3) - K.K. Cruisin' (Jazz/Rock Cover)

It is now officially my favorite video game cover I've done to this day. I can't say I fully know why, but part of it has to be due to the fact that the song's structure taught me a bit more about how a "jazzy" song is arranged. At least on the chill side. I also managed to get a mix on my own that I was pretty happy with. I hope you enjoyed!

(1/3) Making an Anime Battle Theme

Simple and to the point. This was actually a *commissioned* song, but I liked it so much that I spiced it up a bit more (with some mixing/mastering by sixteen in mono) to release it or you guys! Definitely a favorite. I hope you all enjoyed!

This Month's Tabs! (Download)

So for this month, I decided to go with my K.K. Cruisin' Cover. I felt like the chords and lead would be pretty fun to learn for those who want ti get into that style more. That being said, I have taken note of your requests (yes, even Snow White and the Seven Deadly Sins) so you may see some of them in the future!

Request Original Song/Cover Tabs here!

I tend to do this every once in awhile and now seems like a good time to bring it back. Not sure what to give you guys this month. A lot of you asked if I'd ever tab covers, so I thought I'd throw those into the mix too. Request a tab for one of my originals or one of my covers that hasn't been done yet (if you want!)! If you see someone's suggestion you like, give their comment a like. Thank you, everyone!

Plans for this week (song download coming tonight)

Well...I did it. I made my own K.K Slider song. I found an awesome Kontakt library with his guitar, whistles, howls, and of course his voice (with multiple voicing choices to switch from). Spent a day and came up with something. If I have extra time this week, I'll make a full version with my guitars.

You can try the library out for yourself right here!  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cnQHaTjtfb8&...
