Let's be honest here. It's pretty much a post-hardcore song as well. As I said when I was writing this, it is one of my favorite songs I've ever written. I know that's something I say often, but I guess the inspiration has been flowing strong lately. This is also the fastest selling song on my channel on release! I hope you guys enjoyed it as well!

Mastered by SixteeninMono once again, here is "Drifter"! This is a more traditional Desert Level theme (although this is a guitar version to make it more interesting). I hope you guys enjoy!

The original idea for this week was going to be a "How To: Make a Desert Level" theme. The fire/desert overworld song was fun, but I wanted to try something a little more "traditional" when it came to the desert part.
I got kind of a last minute idea this week though. I don't know if I can manage it in just a few days, but the idea is.....making a song out of video game controllers. I don't even know what I would title it. I was waiting for a game to load, I started fiddling with my cont...

Didn't realize I haven't posted this here yet. Shame on me and my forgetfulnes- what were we talking about? Anyways, I hope you all enjoyed this forest theme! It was really fun playing around with the various time signatures and ambient synths.

Bam! Here it is! This wasn't meant for this week, but inspiration hit me last night...so I made this song and the entire video in about a day. It's now one of my favorite songs I've written. Funny how that works out. Hope you enjoy!

When making the backing tracks, I muted all of the guitars for fun and thought this sounded pretty interesting. I thought I would share it with you all!

Here are some backing tracks I've been meaning to make for quite awhile. Need something to jam to? Look no further! Want to hear how all the background stuff sounds without lead guitars and other lead instruments? LOOK NO FURTHER X2. All future guitar songs will have these on the regular again.

These next few songs are some of my favorites. Having more time to work on music has really been a relief. Lots more experimenting and implementing my own style. With that all being said, here's my forest/ruins-style theme! And of course if I make any changes to the mix or the song in general, I will send you guys the new version ASAP. I was thinking of changing around the volumes a little. I hope you enjoy!

Incoming more...good stuff (hopefully good stuff? I'm excited anyway!) So this week's video was a bit of a tough one, mainly because I had to decide between two ideas. One is "How To: Make a Forest/Ruins Level Theme" ad the other is "Totally Normal Metal Genres". I decided to go with the How-To, because even though the Metal Genre one is a bit of a joke, I would still like the music segments to sound good. So I'll need a bit more time on that one.
The week after that will be...

This video grew much more than I thought it would. I loved the making of it, but I didn't expect people to like it nearly as much as a guitar video with a performance. It already has more views (and people subscribing) than the video that predates it by a week. Pretty insane! I hope you all enjoyed it as well!

Still working hard on being way ahead of schedule. Making my way to the ultimate goal (consistently 8 weeks ahead)! As I mentioned last week, you guys will be getting a "How-To: Make a JRPG Boss Theme" video this Saturday. On the week after, I might try something a little new. If anyone remembers my "Totally Normal Metal Breakdowns" video, I want to try something similar. "Totally Normal Metal Genres" where I just make my own metal genres. Some might be decent; some might be insanely dumb. It'll...

This one is pretty damn exciting. Always love making battle-style themes and getting to throw some metal in. This is another one mixed and mastered by Sixteen in Mono, so you know the quality is good stuff! If he sends a newer version, I will get it right to you guys ASAP.

WOAH 3 updates in a single night? That's crazy (it's actually because I've been composing stuff all this week whoops. I hope you enjoyed them nonetheless!).
This song was insanely fun to do, mainly because I was thinking of Zelda and Xenoblade the whole time. Writing this one had me in a good mood from start to finish. It makes me even happier to see how much people enjoyed this one as well! I hope you guys enjoyed it too. Groove on, buds!

I mentioned this in the past, but the Fire/Desert Overworld theme was a means of getting some groove out. I have a more traditional Desert style theme coming, and I'm pretty excited. This will probably be the first time I played around with this scale on the channel. Here's a rough little sneak peek. More will come soon!

So as I mentioned last week, I'll be doing a "How To" on haunted house/ghost level music! Thank you all for your opinions on the track and percussion. Reworking that is currently the final step and then it'll be complete. This video will be a little different however. I can't physically play this song on a keyboard. I tried, but I just don't have the time to rehearse it. So instead, I got this program/3D visualizer that has the notes scrolling from one side to another. Kind of like a rh...

I would just like to know which of these has better percussion. One is a slightly modified version of the other, but the difference should be clear. If you think the percussion itself is too harsh, feel free to let me know. This was the set I liked the most, but I am willing to look for more and grab some feedback from you guys!

So as I mentioned already, this week will be a groovy desert/lava overworld theme. There's a lot of guitar and a lot of brass. My kind of deal. Sixteen in Mono is mixing/mastering it as well, so we have quality times ahead!
As for next week, I'm going for a haunted/ghost house theme (akin to the mario series). It's already done for the most part. Just have to add some little extra touches here and there. Also debating if I should try learning it on piano or just replace a video of me p...

This one was some chill fun! I think the hardest part was actually attempting to learn the song on keyboard. I'm still kind of a newbie at it, but these How-To's have definitely helped me get some practice in! Maybe once I put myself a few weeks ahead of schedule, I can get into it a little more :)
Anyways, I hope you all enjoyed the song!

Hey, guys! So progress is going well in terms of getting myself ahead of schedule. Today, I was supposed to make a grassy overworld theme......so....here's a haunted house theme! The second half has drums and whatnot added to it mainly to make the song more interesting. Realistically, it would be the first 1:30 looping over and over again. I'm planning to change more instruments in the second half and also change up the drum beats (because it's the same thing looped for now). I hopee you enjoy t...

So for this week, I created a song for a Desert/Fire Overworld theme. It's one of my new favorites, and because of that, I want to get it professionally mixed/mastered. This means it will be delayed until next week. I didn't want to upload NOTHING though, so I took another favorite of mine today and decided to make a How-To out of it (in the span of a day, but it will be up by 2:30 EST!). Currently editing it right now. It will be "How To: Make an Ambient Space/Sci-Fi Level Theme". I might short...

I'll be making a post in just a minute, but the song that was meant for this week will have to be delayed. It's a new favorite of mine, but because of that, I'd like to get it remastered so it can be heard at it's full potential. I didn't want to leave you guys with nothing, so I took a favorite unreleased original of mine and decided to make a How-To out of it. This week will be "Ambient Sci-Fi Space Level" and next week will be "Desert/Fire Overworld"
I included a little rough copy of the de...

I actually had a bit of trouble deciding what to do for my first 2018 video. I decided to experiment with a desert/lava style over world theme. More on the groovy/gruff side of things (think of something like mor ardain from xenoblade 2 or something from Dragon Ball fight themes). It's been a bit of a challenge so far, but I'm hoping it comes out great! I am happy with the progress.
After that, I'm going to try and put myself ahead of schedule if possible. I would like to ha...

This was a strange idea. I don't even know why I decided to go through with it. I ended up loving the chorus and the second half of the song more than I should have. I might even use them for future projects. I hope you all enjoyed this one!

It took forever, but here it is. Because it's a video solely based on the channel, I don't expect it to do amazingly. But if it DOES, I'll consider getting it mixed by SixteeninMono. I hope you all enjoy this little weird adventure!

It's 9:03 a.m and I just finished tracking all the guitars the way I want them. I still need to sleep and make the video before the sun goes down. I was supposed to send you guys the song last night, but it will have to be postponed to today. I'll throw in a backing track as compensation :) Here's the setlist of songs in the medley
JRPG Good Guy Leitmotif
Original Medley Melody
The Rise
MGK
Karma
Last Minute Hero

Hey, guys! As I said last week, I'm planning to see this year out with a medley of some of my originals (How-To's). The medley is currently over 9 minutes (it might end up even longer. Ohhh boy). Making everything fit was a huge challenge! Here's hoping everything goes smoothly. I basically mapped out the entire thing with rough guitars. I just need to track some final stuff and then I'll have it sent to you guys!

I almost forgot to throw this one up! This is probably one of my favorite songs I've written all year. Unfortunately, I was hit with that little "non ad-friendly" symbol and views/comments suddenly stopped out of nowhere, but the growth at the time was the best I had in December! I am happy that people enjoyed it, and I hope you did too!
