JoJo's Bizarre Rock Dance (Bloody Stream Rock Cover)

This took a lot of damn work to do, but these videos are just way too fun. I recently got into the JoJo series, and I've been loving it so far. The music is no exception. I thought it would be a fun video to try out some of the ridiculous poses!

What I'm covering this week (and other covers I have planned for this month)

I'm deciding to go retro with the OST that originally got me into composing and video game music; Donkey Kong Country 2! David Wise is probably one of my main writing influences, and I felt like this would be a lot of fun. This time around, I'll be doing Mining Melancholy, but there will be more in the future!

As for other covers this month, I have another "rock dance" video planned. This will probably be my last for a little while until I find somewhere outside/new to record them. ...

Mystery Carnival - Pokken Tournament (Rock Cover)

The soundtrack to this game is pretty awesome, and I felt like covering something from a newer game. It was definitely one of the harder covers I've done, and I only had about a day and a half to put this and the video together. It was definitely worth it though!

This week's cover

 My special vids will have to wait. I had a week filled with 12-13 hour works days and I finally finished what I had to do, so I had limited time to make something big this week. THAT BEING SAID, this week, I'm making a cover of "mystery carnival" from Pokken Tournament. I checked out the soundtrack and loved it. I thought this would be a fun one to try out. It's hard as hell, but the end product sounds pretty sweet. I hope you all enjoy when it comes out (very likely tomorrow)!

Slight change of plan for this week

WELLLLLL it looks like I came down with a cold or something. It also made my acid reflux act up, so I'm basically kind of half dead right now with a major headache. I'm still going to make a cover for this week, but it wont be the rpg battle theme medley. Maybe I can try that one next week. But either way, there will be content coming this week :) 

What's coming next week (hopefully)

Things have been getting quite busy/productive lately! I've been making good use out of the hours in my day to get everything done, and it feels good. I'm trying to throw in a little more effort this week with a secret medley! RPG battle themes! I think this has potential to be pretty cool, as long as everything fits together nicely. Dragon Roost Island (Acoustic/Rock Cover)

Y'all ever played an infuriating game named "Super Hexagon"? It's so addicting, but damn, it takes awhile to get down. The soundtrack was 70% of the reason I bought it. I still can't tell if that's a good thing or not lol. EITHER WAY, the "hexagonest" theme has always been a really awesome video game theme, and I decided to take it on. So I hope you all enjoy that when it comes this friday/saturday! It's probably one of my favorite covers right now.

DK 64 Rock Rap!

Bam! It's done :) This one took awhile to get down. I swear the tempo changes from 123 to 124 bpm. I had to lot of cutting edits to fit it all in time. After this, I'm going to do a couple more covers, and then I'm going to also start working on some original projects that I've taken on with other people. You'll all still get your covers though :D

Funny Idea for next week's cover

I've had this habit lately of looking up the DK rap mixed with different songs and having a laugh. Upon going through those, I found a video where someone ripped the vocals clean from the song (he did it just for the sake of more remixes). Of course I got more excited than I should have and downloaded it right away. So y'all are getting a DK rap rock cover next week. I'm thinking of trying to change up the music style with each kong part, but I'll see. It depends on how it mixes with the actu...

Unravel - Tokyo Ghoul (Metal Cover)

BLAM. Another anime track. The vocals in the original are a bit strange, but the actual notes used are pretty good with the (already sweet) music. I don't know a single thing about this anime, but I'm definitely willing to check it out. Back to video games this week! I've been on a very retro JRPG high lately. You can expect something from the Final Fantasy series coming! If the cover works out and people like it enough, I'll revisit the series for more covers. Hope you guys enjoy!

Ares Boss - Xenoblade X (Rock Cover)

More Xenoblade! I can't get enough of this soundtrack. This one took a bit more work to get everything together. For songs like this one, I usually have 2 drumsets going. One is a standard acoustic, while the other is a heavy techno/electronic kit. It helps make the song a bit punchier and heavier, and tracks like these definitely need something like that if you're looking to capture the feeling of the original song. I hope you all enjoy!

Unravel - Tokyo Ghoul?

So as I've said in my past update, I wanted to start doing anime covers as well. One of my biggest suggestions is "Unravel" from Tokyo Ghoul. I've never seen the anime, but the theme has some cool notes I can use in my cover. So this will probably be the next anime song. Do you guys have any suggestions? I don't really have a lot of knowledge in this area.

This is probably one of my favorite covers now. I don't know if its because the original  song is already so amazing, but this was a lot of fun to do. But yeah, I'm also working on anime covers now, so I hope you all enjoy these and more new stuff to come later this year!

Some plans for next year

So I thought you guys would like a little info on some plans I have for 2016! I'm planning on expanding a little more in terms of covers. I would love to cover some anime stuff every once in awhile. I might actually be opening 2016 with a cover of the One Punch Man theme. I have some cool ideas for my own version of it!

Original music and "How To" videos will still be happening. I'd like to get those out quicker as well. I'm also thinking of making funny 5 second video skits that have to ...

Spider Dance & U.N Owen Was Her

Well, here they are! The final two covers of December. I made a total of 6 videos this month (I did not make a paid post for each and every one individually, as the number of music videos this month was over the usual limit), all based on requests from fans. I'm glad everyone enjoyed it. Hey guys! I wanted to thank you so much for being my first patrons. The support is beyond amazing to me, and I really appreciate it. As a thank you (if I can), I'll give you a recording of NEXT week's cover before the video comes out. That cover was meant to be this week, but I'm trying to get a new/better sound for myself.
