End of Month Wrap Up and Plans (August 2021)

Well...August has been a wild ride. Behind the scenes, there's been almost too much commission work. Those "songs that play when" videos have definitely saved me more than once. Most of all though, it's been a pretty emotionally wacky month. First of all, thank you all so much for the support and seeing the potential in me no matter what goes on here. I'm still looking at new reward ideas to consider so I can deliver more.

This last original is a favorite of mine for 2021 and I'm super happy to say that it'll be in an actual video game! I have much more like this coming soon and I can't wait to show it to all of you (:

I am absolutely PUMPED for this anime, and the music that accompanied the trailer was downright amazing. It's always tough to learn a song that still has SFX being played over it, but I've done it so much at this point that it's pretty much fine :'D I hope you guys enjoyed!

This was just an excuse to get back into writing metal music. I wanted to practice some techniques again because I have some stuff planned akin to my song "System Failure". Cant wait to show you all what I have cookin' ^^

1. I'm about to announce another game I've been making music for. This week could involve me showing off one of the songs (which you'd get a free download for)

2. A cover of Jolyne's Theme from the newly announced 6 Part of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure (the anime)

New Reward Suggestions + Some personal updates on my life/mental health

Hello, all! As you're all aware, it's been tough to keep up with frequent updates (or at least update as much as I'd want to) on this page. I'm still able to give my plans and give out free song downloads/backing tracks no problem, but things like announcing plans are a bit tougher because of commissions, personal issues, etc clouding my brain. I usually don't have an idea until as late as a thursday night (giving me only a day and a half to make a whole song and video).

"Vanilla Blitzer" - Shady Cicada (4/4)

This one is a bit of a fave. I've been slowly working on this one and it's an attempt at a different style. I'm hoping to learn more after this and try some more in this style sometime! I hope you all enjoyed!

I laughed the entire time I made this song. But then I replaced the cat noises with a violin for the Patreon version and I came to genuinely love it. I may even make a full idea out of it sometime. I hope you guys enjoyed!

"The Catch" - Shady Cicada (2/4)

I started up a new series idea where I'd be able to make songs like usual but minimize editing so I could have more time to work on commissions. It was unusually successful, which is fantastic! These songs are indredibly fun to write. And as the challenges get more random and complex, so wil the songs potentially! It could be a good way to try new styles out while still working (:

I made another FNF song and honestly, it was a lot of fun making a song with battling melodies. It's a theme I wouldn't mind using for my own songs (in a less literal sense). It's definitely a style that can carry a narrative! I hope you guys enjoyed!

The title pretty much has the update, but I'll be bringing tabs back (: for new and old guitar stuff. I'll also try adding notes from other instruments in there if I can!

Hello, everyone! Finally an update! The break of June went really well and it was a huge benefit for my productivity when it came to music writing. Despite the channel taking a hit from the break, it has rcovered incredibly quickly thanks to some of these new ideas.

As for things I have planned, I'd love to make more full songs from the "songs that play when" series I'm messing with. I would still like to remake viewer songs in my own style, but that will take awhile to start and put to...

Hello! Well, my laptop's battery started buldging just like the one before it (turns out razer laptops are uh...not so trustworthy at times). I had to finally get a genuine PC for myself.
