It's very simple. I feel it conveys the volume well.

But if I feel any different in the future, I'll redo it.

Since I still have no new art, or energy to do any.

These are the covers I got so far. There are actually 3 volumes at this point, but I have no cover for the third.

Here's some info about the volumes:

Volume 1- Scattered Roses (Welcome to Greenville)- Ch1-7 (initially it contained Ch 8 too) - 208 pages

Volume 2- Barabara City Pop!- Ch 8-11 - 160 pages

Volume 3- Geometry and Eros- Ch 12-15- 218 pages

Since I can't really do comic stuff rn, I was thinking better. Instead of Rosas, this song-Una rosa es una rosa- would be a better alternate name for R&R.

This songs is a spanish classic, but I have never heard it until a few months ago. Just look at the lyrics translated, it fits so damn well lol. (just turn on CC on the video)

I am very stressed about this chapter in all honesty. Because of all the stuff that has been happening recently I am very behind schedule  (barely 24 pages out of like 40/50) I also feel like I can't draw or write anymore and I don't wanna disappoint all the new people that have recently become interested in my story.

This chapter was never as deep or complex or even good as the one before, but now, it feels even worse, I was going for a scarier/eerie/nothing is what it seems tone ...

Some facts about the art:

The building in this art is a real one, Palacio de Cibeles in Madrid, I used to pass by it so often as a kid, it's very nostalgic to me. The palette of this is also based on Spain's flag.

Question about annual redraw

Every year in October I try to redraw this one illustration from 2020.

And I was wondering, should I use the same pose ref as last year or the second one (pose is closer to the original illustration)

I have started adding more museums/historical monuments.

After that, I gotta finish the camping zones, and I think I'll add stuff like protected zones and etc.

Ok, so I was just listening to music and this idea randomly came into mind.

Idk if this will ever go anywhere, but the ideas are these:

Early 2000s, Characters in their early 20s (or maybe 18/19 etc), No chapters or arcs, just 1/2 page short comics, simple moments of joy in a suburban setting

-Sylvie: Most northern region, very forested area, where the "main" character is from.

-Etienne: Desert region, used to be the capital before. Rose is from here.

-Delicias: I don't have a lot of ideas for it yet, I know it's even more barren desert.

-Finisterre: Even though it's not really the easternmost point of Via, it's kinda treated that way

Also, regarding the map, today I finished all the secondary roads, added rivers and lakes, added Big cities, cities, towns, villages and also railroads.
