A LOT of different doodles went into the creation of this comic. I knew the topic I wanted to tackle with it, so it was just a matter of finding the best way to get the point across.
And wow, did this comic ever blow up.

People with a keen eye may have noticed that sometimes my doodled characters end up being flipped (Red on the left, Genie on the right). I usually flip them depending on the way I want the dialogue to flow. In this case I wanted Red to interrupt Genie with the "A MILLION DOLLARS", so he'd ideally be on the right since I want Genie's speech, on the left, to be read first.
I don't know if that was interesting (or if I even worded it properly), but thought I'd clarify if anyone was eve...

Pretty much turned out exactly as I doodled/sketched. The main things I changed were the wording in the last panel, and I swapped the mouth expressions between panels 2 and 3.
Also I had this one sketched out before I came up with last week's 'Trophy Hunting' idea. I had started a buffer..! (Which I have now spent)

When I heard about the Cecil story, I knew I wanted to make a comic with that theme. I wasn't sure what kind of comic I wanted to make, or what message I wanted to convey, so I did some research on trophy hunting to get a better understanding of it all.

I've included an extra image in this album, it's a really old image I made nearly 10 years ago, and it's sort of a similar shot as this week's punchline (ignore the obnoxious watermarks.. I was young and naive!!).
Also in the doodles you can see my initial idea was going straight to the last panel from receiving the tickets, but it was missing something. Then the winks happened!
