Getting Warhammered - [Chapter 38]

In a dark tunnel deep beneath the Hive City's lowest floor, reality shimmered as the veil between reality and the Warp flickered out for a moment. It was already weakened after the Warp Portal, and while it wouldn't have caused too much trouble otherwise, in this one place, it would be different.

The veil cracked and peeled back, revealing a twisting gate of chaotic energy. Out of it, a long feathered arm reached out, followed by a clawed leg reminiscent of a hawk but much larger. Soon ...

Getting Warhammered - [Chapter 37]

"Son of a bitch," I heard Selene say in something like a whispered scream but my attention was barely on her. The Tsunami in the Warp was approaching us like a tide of world-ending darkness, aiming to snuff out the soul of us all.

It even reached beyond the Warp, towering further towards me but I knew I'd be safe. Distance was relative and especially in the place my soul was, it'd only take a single thought to get out of the way of it.

I swept my gaze across the hundreds of gather...

Marvelous Transmigration - [Chapter 26]

Deadpool remained in the same position for a few seconds, seemingly waiting for the applause that rightfully should follow his heroic declaration.

Emilia managed to shake off her astonishment at such a man actually existing, she liked Deadpool as a character but now that the batshit insane mercenary declared his willingness to kill her she'd have to retaliate in kind, not that she put too much faith in actually managing to do so. In some Marvel universes, the actual concept of Death was...

"Oh, you are here," Selene said as she turned her head towards me while a bunch of people were struggling to help her put on her battle armor.

"Mhm," I nodded, "What are you going into battle with?"

"Hopefully nothing," said the Captain as her pauldrons clicked into place, "but you never know, especially since the Magos seemed to have found something interesting."

"And that needs both you and me to handle?"

"Apparently," she shrugged, somehow managing to move the heavy...

Getting Warhammered - [Chapter 35]

Life was never boring when you had enough things to do to fill up dozens of hyper-cognitive Mind-Cores with, my little trade with Zedev was more fortuitous than I'd hoped but less than I dreamed of. Still, I now had about fifty genetic samples to go through and somehow create a whole-body template from.

I got to work on the two I requested first, Ambulls were ugly insectoid fuckers that stood at around two or three meters if I remembered right and there were a few interesting things to ...

We just reached 40 Patrons, Thank You all guys, your support means a lot to me.

I never imagined that people would pay money to be able to read my writing.

<3

=========================================

"Thank you for escorting me yourself," I said with a sideways glance.

"That is the least I could do," said Selene with a shake of her head, "though I don't quite understand why you'd want to go to the observatory."

"To see it," I said as the reinforced and ...

Getting Warhammered - [Chapter 33]

Lately, I have found my greed overtake my empathy, no, overtake was not representing the reality of my situation well. I have outright ignored any semblance of empathy and let my greed guide me.

This thought was the culmination of all the logs one of my Mind-Cores made over a retrospective survey of my actions up until now. I didn't even consider helping or healing the mutants hiding under the hive city, I've had logical reasons for not doing that, They'd die either way, being a mut...

"Yes?" I called out, my eyes snapping open as I stared at the closed door.

"Lady Inquisitor I have been sent with a message from the esteemed Magos Dominus Zedev," I heard a synthetic voice say through it, "Do I have permission to enter?"

"Yes, come in," I said as I untangled my legs from the lotus position and got to my feet before the cyborg tech priest walked into the opened door.

"So, what is it that the good Magos has sent you all the way here for?" I asked, foregoing o...

I am adding this chapter between the previous ch 30 and 29.

==============================================================

The sudden idea of bio-drones derailed my previous testing for a bit as I figured out that I actually could make bio-drones, sort of.

I tried with flies at first, because the last 38 thousand years somehow failed to exterminate the pests and they were still around even on a damned spaceship. The little fuckers zipped around without a care in the...

Selene Voss

"CAPTAIN," Selene would have liked to have time for herself, to think things through, to get a handle on the absurd situation she'd found herself in but as life tended to, id didn't let her, "CAAPTAAAIIINNNN!"

"WHAT?" she snapped back at the annoying idiot that was screaming at her door just half an hour ...

"So you say you found other genestealer holdouts all over the planet?" I asked the towering Magos with a raised eyebrow.

"Affirmative: Yes," he...it, answered.

I took the moment to take in his whole form, he had four mechanical legs like thick spider legs that held up his towering torso that was covered in plated armoring which hid a swarm of cables and tubes. A Mechanicus coat hung over his shoulders, hiding four larger arms and several smaller ones under it, som...

Marvelous Transmigration - [Chapter 25]

"You thought about how we are going to move all this," Jean stared at Emili with a slightly judgemental stare, "right, love?"

Emilia awkwardly turned her gaze away, but this only brought the ton of vibranium sitting around in the underground vault into her sight. The answer was clear and despite having had a few hours to think about the problem she couldn't come up with anything better than just Jean flying away with it before they hid it somewhere for later.

Emilia herself could ...

The next few days took me out on sorties toward the tip of the ship and after the fourth day, I was finally satisfied with my gene collection. The waste disposal parts of the ship and the rather decayed sections bore the most fruit outside of the Warp Drive's close proximity.

Groups of mutants that called themselves Waste Nomads developed tough, scarred skin and heightened resistance to toxins while the Rustborne as they called themselves had near immunity to acids and corrosive agents ...

Jean Grey

Jean Grey didn't have any control over her life for as long as she could remember.

For the first decade of her life, she was a child with no agency of her own, that was natural though, parents guided their children until they could choose their own paths but for Jean reality came crashing down when she was just a young girl playing with her best friend.

They say children are free and without worry but for Jean that couldn't have been further from the truth after ...

"I'll take that as a compliment," I smiled at the confused Navigator, "I'm Inquisitor Echidna of the Ordo Xenos, a pleasure to meet you, Aaron."

He frowned at my casual way of calling him, stuck up Navigator, but then the cogs in his head turned ever so slowly as the Inquisitor part of my introduction clicked in his mind.

"Ah, my apologies Lady Inquisitor," he bowed his head, "I'm Aaron Follanx, Navigator assigned to this ship."

"We'll be relying on you to ...

I sat strapped into an uncomfortable seat as the shuttle shuddered and screeched in the effort of breaking through the atmosphere, half a minute passed like that, with me wondering whether this junk blowing up thousands of meters in the air would kill me or not.

By some miracle, the shuttle calmed and with a few tendrils of my soul energy passing through its reinforced walls, I sensed no air around it. I was in space for the first time ever, yeah it was on a shit ride and I couldn't wat...

Orion looked a bit concerned as he glanced between me and his Captain while I was considering how much to share with the woman. What did I want from her? Was a lift to another world enough? Even that would be a considerable effort if what she said about the state of her ship is true and she has no reason to lie to me about that.

"What were these heretics doing here?" she asked, visibly forcing herself to stay respectful.

"No idea," I shrugged, "Crazy fuckers, not my job t...

My Worldbuilding Notes

These are for Whispers of Winter's Flight

No major spoiler but it surely reveals stuff that the MC doesn't know yet or even some that nobody knows in the world so read at your discretion.

The Excel file is how I calculate how much mana people have based on Essence Level.

Poll thingy

Which of my web novels are you interested in?

I'm very curious.

EDIT: Marvelous Transmigration is going on a Hiatus from 09/09 of 2023.

Whispers of Winter's Flight

All current chapters from my personal notes.

Also has the stat block I added for convenience's sake.

Some measurement stuff

- 1 mana is how much mana an average person has at Level 0 aka without any essence in their body.

- 1 Essence is 1 mana transformed entirely into essence.

-Levels go from 0 to 500.

-Essence requirement is how much essence one needs for the next level.

Disclaimer: some of these are first draft chapters so sorry for any typos.
