The first page of Chapter 14- Exodus. Back in the heart of inner-city Anduruna, amidst a roiling fogstorm.
This page also reflects a format change for the book- I had to go with a standard-size comic format when we started Volume 1. But I always wanted the art to have more room to breathe.
Volume 4 was the conclusion of the first 'act' of the story, so with Volume 5, we've decided to go for a full size 8.5 x 11 book.

Back in college, I made a plush Whip for Dave over the summer. This one had wire in the ears and tail, beans in the toes, and joints to move the limbs, and fabric pen rims, since I couldn't find the right blue. He was also much fluffier. 2004ish
