People enjoyed this last time I posted one. This shows the 3 stage process in one, the penciling I do, the inking and the coloring Anton does (He's taking on new projects if you need a colorist!).
Be sure to take a look at the lower right corner. The penciling is not as the page appeared finished. Things are fluid and I make calls all the time. Does it flow with other things on the page? Is it dynamic enough? Those questions run through my head all the time.
House Cleaning
I have sort of a weird poll. Bear with me: In the first 3 Grudgefights I combined all the pages of a comic into one post. This meant cleaning out the individual pages I posted as I completed them.
Do you prefer all the pages individually or would you rather me clean up the subsequent pages and combine them into one post books?
Technically I could so both, but with so many posts, you could have a hard time finding a particular issue if you wanted to read them all at once. T...

Veronica vs Bebe Alternate Cover
As you all know, I hand draw all my comics. I leave the inking lines for definition in these pieces, but there is another technique to make the flow a bit better. Recoloring the inklines from the harsh black to a defining color based on skin or the fabric. You still get the linework, but it softens the image. It also is time consuming, so don't get used to this process! :) I wanted to share what this might look like in an alternate to the current comic cover.

Nichelle Nichols passed away last year, and everyone did fan tribute art. I wanted to, but was busy. It's past time I got to it. So this one is called For Spock. Nurse Chapel had it bad for Spock, but according to the Kelvin Timeline, Uhura had a thing for him too. So it was inevitable that they would straighten things out! In this case on a volcanic planet with no one around to interrupt.
