Pokemon Easter Eggs!

It may be a tad early for Easter but I wanted to get these out before I get going on this month's Ornamentals. It also gives you plenty of time to print and paint for the holiday and I can always add to the collection the closer we get if time allows.

Anyways... so far we have 8 different models including Bulbasaur, Charmander, Dratini, Gengar, Growlithe, Jigglypuff, a Poke-Egg, and Squirtle! I find giving the inside bottom rim a quick sand helps to round off that edge and make it easie...

A small preview

Hey Everyone!

A couple things for this post. First, the poll for this month's Ornamental Pokemon is coming to a close soon so get your vote in now before you miss out!

Second, I wanted to share some of what I have been working on for this month that isn't ornamental. FUECOCO!

Base model of Fuecoco is now available for all Patrons! I got excited about the announcement of the new game coming out at the end of the year and decided to model what my pick is going to be. Fuecoco will also be available in March since it's the last day of the month and this wasn't a planned model.

March Ornamentals

Hey Everyone

as this month comes to an end and we have finished off the first 10 Patron requests, it’s now time to open up the floor to the group and let everyone have their voice. Below you will find 9 Pokémon for you all to vote on for what you want to see next. The top 4 will be the chosen ones for March and the rest will go back into the pot for the following month. Ornamental Growlithe

We're finishing the month up on a good one! Growlithe is ready and waiting for all Patrons in the Drive folder and is at the top for one of my favourites. He shouldn't need too many supports, a little under his tail and at the back of his mohawk. Other than that its a pretty simple print. I'll be keeping Growlithe available into March since it's so close to the end of the month.

So many files!

It's been a busy day of finishing up models and uploading files!

Ornamental Phantump is ready for your printing pleasure and the test print came out beautifully! There is the usual complete model but I have also provided a cut up one that should make FDM prints easier. While I was cutting Phantump up I decided to do a fun planter version of Phantump's head lol.

Next up is an Ornamental Porygon, probably more for the resin printers with the amount of over hangs but still doable...

Blastoise PokeNesting Dolls are available!

The newest nesting dolls is available now to all Patrons. This one isn't completely support free as you will need some small supports under Blastoise's canons but that's it. I can't wait to see yours!

PokeNesting Doll-Blastoise

A preview of the next set of files that will be available to everyone. The initial sculpts for the Blastoise nesting dolls are all done and now it’s on to adjusting them so they all fit into each other and then cutting them. After these it’s back to the Ornamental designs for a few to finish off the Patron requests of Phantump and then Growlithe.

Ornamental Typhlosion is waiting for you!

The Ornamental Typhlosion files are uploaded and ready for you. Not crazy for FDM supports but you will need some under the arms and front of the mouth. Also a quick question, are people wanting the basic versions of these or just the Ornamental? If people are just wanting the Ornamental then I wont worry about the Basic versions. Comment below what you're after.

Pokeball Series

Hey Everyone,

Typhlosion is test printing now so I'll let you know when that's ready, but in the meantime I did up a quick Pikachu themed Pokeball that would be perfect for magnets or hanging on the wall! I've included a few versions depending on what you want to do with the print. 

I've got designs lined up for other Pokemon for this style for some quick easy prints that, with a magnet, could be popular sellers.

We have just about finished the first full month of this Patreon and I couldn't thank all of my supporters enough! It has been a pleasure sculpting these designs for everyone to print and so cool seeing what you guys do with them so keep tagging @maple3dprinting on instagram so I can see those prints.

A Special Preview of what's coming Feb 2

So I wanted to give you guys a little Patron only preview of what I've been working on lately! I'm pretty stoked to get these out and into your hands.

Poke-Nesting dolls! I haven't seen/found anything like this in my searches and thought it would be a fun thing for eveyone. Super easy print with no supports on the fdm, Mine took about 15 total hours to print all three evolutions at a 0.2 layer height so nothing too crazy. I can see these being a good seller for those that are into that...

Tyranitar files are available now!

Just a quick post to let everyone know that the Tyranitar files are ready and waiting for everyone! let's see those prints!

Tyranitar Test Printing Today

Another update for all you fine people! Tyranitar is done being modelled, posed, and is getting ready fo his test print. Once that is successful the files will be available for everyone.  He's not going to be the easiest FDM print due to the overhangs, but I tried making those spots a little wider and flatter to try and help make it a successful print.

Typhlosion will be the next pick to be modelled but he will have to be a February release. I've got a fun, easy print in the works ...

Tyranitar evolution diorama preview

I wanted to give you Mighty Maples a non-blurry visual of how the diorama is coming along. More or less done sculpting minus some detail work but I'll have to chop it up so it fits on to the printer and hopefully into pieces that will need minimal support (that's the plan anyways).

The Tyranitar Ornamental version is still coming along nicely as well, nearly done his top half so keep your eyes peeled for that one too.

Also! As the group continues to grow I want to say thanks again...

#155 Cyndaquil

The Cyndaquil test print came out great so that means it's all yours! No supports needed for this one either so just drop it on the bed and let the printer do it's thing.

Another Preview! Tyranitar is looking good

Cyndaquil is done being modelled and ready for a test print so you will get the files for him soon. In the mean time, here is a preview of the Tyranitar model that I have been working on. Machamp may have some competition for my favourite!
