New cosplay soon!!

Sooooooo I started a new cosplay today! (technically yesterday since I did quite a few hours of shopping and got fabric and supplies)

This was my first time working with black worbla to this extent! It's crazy awesome at creating details and I feel like I'm slightly cheating because of the easiness, but so far I'm liking the effect! I'm out of worbla though so the rest of the armor will have to be EVA foam!

I made a Venonat costume to wear with my girlfriends at Tampa Bay Comic Con! It's mostly hot-glued together and rather silly, but it's always fun to cosplay with friends!! The minute I get home I hope to get going on my Scyther cosplay which will be a million times better :D

Twitch Creative Cosplay Contest

This cosplay is PERFECT for the Twitch cosplay contest, or really any contest-- advanced wig-styling and dying, sewing and embroidery, wings, and props and armor.... a well-rounded cosplay is usually best to wow the judges! If only it had some lit components, then it would be positively perfect, but I'm not good at electrical stuff yet anyway!

Things I've learned while using EVA foam!

As you guys may know, I'm a little cheap when it comes to cosplay. This means I can't afford sheets and sheets of worbla (most large armor sets like Sylvanas take about 3 jumbo sheets to make a costume similar to my Sylvanas, coming to about $243 for the worbla alone!), so I settle for the cheaper option: EVA and craft foam!Honestly, as a noob to this material, I don't feel like I should be one to write tutorials on how to use it, but I CAN tell you about what I've learned since I started usi...

Time is on my side!

Watching the con crunch for other cosplayers for SDCC makes me sad I'm not going, but it's been nice having some time to catch up on life! I spent my weekend having a Pokemon Go meetup with friends and the community, playing Overwatch, and watching TV, as well as making a simple costume for upcoming boudoir and cosplay shoots! Now it's time to get back in the fight and get stuff done! :D

Changes to Patreon tiers!

After a few months of having a Patreon, I've made a few adjustments as an attempt to stay caught up on my rewards and create better content for you guys!

Wow! What a week!

I apologize for the silence! July has been crazy so far, spending the first part of it in Los Angeles/San Diego attending Anime Expo, going to Disneyland (twice), and roaming the streets of LA looking for Pokemon! Surprise I'm in LA!

Just wrapped on a shoot with The Warp Zone!! They requested a week ago that I make a Tracer cosplay for one of their videos, and so on top of working part time at the ice cream shop, fulfilling other costuming obligations for AX this weekend, and cuddling my cats, I made this Tracer costume in three days! I estimated 36 hours in the last three days were spent on this costume :D

What I did this weekend and what's to come!

My weekend was CRAZY!! Here's everything I did:

-- made everything you see above for my McCree cosplay from Overwatch! The skirt, the corset, the poncho, the gloves, and the hat were all made by me!

Smaug Creation!

Here's my first cosplay timelapse video of the Smaug costume I created in 4 days! This costume was actually more on the pricey side, because the coins and jewels had to be bought (off Amazon), and I bought 8 yards of the vinyl from Joanns (using a 50% off coupon, I got it for $15/yard, but only ended up using a little over 5 yards of it).
