Progress report

Hey all.

New special character is coming. Rich married lady with exquisite taste. Owner of the jewelry store.

She'll unlock some new places if you play your cards right.

Other than that I'm animating gangbangs and doing some work on the skill system.

Just a short report, but there isn't that much to say and I don't want to talk about new girl too much so you can discover stuff by yourself.

Auto production

Hey all.

Some more changes, this time to auto production.

You can now set the preferred type and category for each studio. (It was for whole floor before)

You can also set the default title for each studio. Before it was always generic "Porn scene x", you can replace it with whatever you want. Easier to keep track of all the auto scheduled scenes.

Also change from scenes per week to scenes planned in advance.

There's also few settings: 

-prioritize girls with best stats

-prioritize those who are already paid

-forbid to schedule girls with X days of popularity penalty.

I might include few more settings, so if you have any wishes let me know in the comments.

Lingerie

Hey all!

Just a quick image. 2 new sets of lingerie. 

As far as other things go, I'm making some quality of life improvements all across the game. Some things can be pretty tedious right now, so I'm trying to change them. 

In general, repetitive clicking on buttons, looking for 10 minutes to find a single piece of data and going to places without any happenings ever. We don't want that.

Training

Hey all.

A little change to the girl training system.

Now you had to click on training, wait few days, click again, wait few days... It took a loong time and keeping track of everything for 100 girls was just disgusting.

So i changed it to sliders. How do they work?

You set number of training days for particular attribute and you get a number to which she'll be trained to.

For example, you recruit a girl with 100 potential. You want her to reach that potential ASAP. Just drag the sliders till her limit and she'll be off. No more looking for her, hoping PA didn't schedule her and so on.

It's more quality of life improvement.

Can't tell you exact numbers, cause I didn't do a complete playthrough yet to balance it. For now 1 day = 2 points. This number increases with special girls, skills and perhaps other things will help you reach their potential even faster.

Finances

Hey all.

I've been getting feedback that longer you play, harder it is to track where your money is going and coming from.

Since we are trying to make management game here, there has to be some stat data for you to look at. That's why i'm making this little more detailed table.

I would also like to make some cool graphs and charts, but since game engine doesn't have something inbuilt i would need to write everything from scratch. So we'll leave that for some future update.

For now this will have to do it. Above image is still work in progress so stuff will change a little bit.

Otherwise game is progressing nicely, dev version should be ready soon.

Tattoos

There you'll be able to pick up alt girls and change tattoos of your stars.

Hey all.

As you can see in this short video you won't be limited with 15 hair colors anymore. 

Now you have more than 16 million of them :)

Not really the essential part of the game but always nice to have.

It's part of the beauty salon, which is a new location. You already have some options at home and now you'll be able to visit the place.

Other than this, I'm working on stuff mentioned in previous post.

Progress Report

Hey all.

Working on new locations, events and daily tasks.

Events are random scenarios that will happen while traveling around the city.

Daily tasks are tasks which you get to decide at the start of the day. Like for example: 

Girl X wants to go to the vacation.

Director Y wants to go the conference.

Based on your decision they might come back leveled up, be unhappy if you don't let them go and other possible outcomes... You get the point.

So in general spicing up the gameplay with some happenings all around.

There is always a need to reiterate upon improvements, to expand some of the established mechanics and to introduce new features.

New bugs are also reported which I also want to fix. Nobody wants a broken game.

That's it for now, I'll go into more details in the future.

Android version - Test build

Hey all.

I don't know if there's any demand for it, but here it is.

DOWNLOAD 

It's a Sunday project so take it as that.

It's UNTESTED. I've just run it few times to see if it works and it does. 

It's the latest(v0.71b) PC build ported to android. There are NO swiping, NO optimizations made, sprites are waaay to big, buttons and sliders way to small and plenty of other stuff. 

You can imagine it's hard to play on a mobile phone. If you have a tablet it's OK. 

Like i said, it's a fun/test/experimental build. If there's any interest I'll start developing a "real" mobile version.

I've had few random crashes (especially in the bar) on phone with 1GB RAM. 2GB phone works OK with no issues so far. It's probably related to the number of bodies loaded on screen, so watch for that if you're going to play on an older device. No need to report bugs or anything.

 HOW?

-Download APK file

-Copy it to your mobile device and run

-You will be prompted that you're going to install apk from untrusted source

-You trust me so hit OK :)

-There are some permissions, what is this? You want my personal data?

No. Game needs only 2 permissions, WRITE and READ from disk. It's for the save games. There are million other permissions but I don't think this game needs more than those two. I could be wrong.

-After install, open it and enjoy.

v0.71 Changelog 

Art:

-Backgrounds: Bar, bar toilet and city map.

-Female: New haircuts, outfits and one more eye color(dark brown).

-Male: More eyes.

Gameplay:

-ANAL option for every MF position.

-Skill system. Choose from 9 different classes.

-New location: Casting agency. Substitute for placing ads. (Only female models for now.  Non-female NPCs can be recruited with the old method.)

-New Attribute: Potential. Serves as a cap (with some tolerance)up  to which the girl is trainable. Important stat to have if you wanna level your girl to the final skill.

-Detailed chemistry view for each girl.

-All attributes changed from 30 to 100.

-Chemistry raised to 200 total.

-Scene popularity raised to 1900 total.

-All levels changed from 5 to 10.

-You can now delete male actors.

-Scene tab: Expanded stats IF your PA has report role.

-The more popular the girl is, the smaller the 14 days scene popularity penalty becomes. If a girl's popularity is 100, penalty is halved (so 7 days).

-Girls tab: Second characteristics filter and checkbox to show only pregnant women.

-Staff tab: Job filter.

-Animation changes to flow more naturally unlike the sort of robotic movement that was used up till now.

-You can change costumes and accessories on Girls/Image tab.

-Alice(girl on the beach) can be employed as a PR Manager which will boost your earnings.

PA new role: Marketing. Increase the income you earn from a scene by a small factor. The higher level the PA, the bigger the returns.

-PAs who are assigned with an auto production role will first prioritize actors that are already paid, then all the others and lastly those with popularity penalty.

-PA Auto production: option to prioritize girls with best stats.

-Redesigned a bit the Surgery and Makeover tabs.

-Updated quick guide in the main menu.

Bugs

-Filtering in PRODUCTION wasn't working right. Some options didn't do anything, like sorting by last published.

-Staff sex skills increase as you train them. Before they were stuck at 1 position forever.

-Overview tab showed wrong number of actresses.

-PAs scheduled girls that were on training.

-Some outfits didn't show the right version when in sex scene (like nurse outfit for example).

-Skiping sex scenes fast causes to stay in pause mode.

-Posting videos on the internet lowered the website happiness

-Devotee class: One of the skills was bugged and crashed the game in some cases.

-Outfits: Maid, nurse and red dress were bugged when you removed top and bottom parts.

-Production: Unable to assign males to the scene.

Bunny + Progress report

Hey all.

New costume and haircut as you can see. Not the only ones...

Skills are done and coded in.

Made some changes to them. Removed previously mentioned universal skills and made 9 classes with 4 skills in a tree. First 3 skills have 3 stages, the last one has 1. So total 10 skill points you can spend. Maybe we'll change to more, have to see what the general opinion will be. You can "multiclass". It's not like some complex RPG but it's possible to spice things up.

Also made some changes to the SCENES tab. Now you could only see Quality, Chemistry and Popularity all summed up. I've changed it so it's more detailed and you can see where are you lacking. 10 More bars of data yea.

Chicks to pick up at the hotel lobby. This is the place where we're gonna put thematic costumes. Probably going to be convention of sorts every 7 days and you'll be able to find them there. Maybe change the conversations a little bit and include some comic/games trivia quizzes to annoy you?

What's left to do?

Anal scenes and casting agency which will replace placing ads.

I have more free time this week so i can work on this whole day every day.

Dev version is almost ready. I could put it out today but I have to do at least some minimal testing or else you all gonna be pissed.

Progress report and some info on skill system

Hey all. Long post ahead.

So over the weekend I was working on some optimization and the city map. Body parts are all preloaded into memory. Switching between scenes should be faster now.

The "main" feature for the next update is skill system. 

The attributes are all raised to 100.  So with 4 attributes (Beauty, Intellect, Sex Skills and Fitness) their sum is 400. I've made that for every 40 att points girl gets 1 skill point which you can spend(Number of skill points may change)

There are few universal skills but once you reach certain point you can choose more specialized skills. 

There are 9 "classes" right now. Every class has unique skills. Some are focused on popularity, some on drugs, some on fans. So you choose in what department you want her to shine and put points into it.

That way you can pick up a low tier girl and guide her to become a super star. This is not a RPG so don't expect dungeons&dragons level of depth but I think there's enough variety to make every girl unique in a way.

I also want to include traits. So based on her traits(cute, perverse, clever,
...) she'll get additional bonus to her class skills. (We'll see about that)

BUT not every girl can be a superstar can she. So new (important) attribute is introduced: Potential.

Potential goes from 0-100 and it's almost a hard cap limit to girls attributes. So if her potential is 50 you will not be able to raise her attributes much above that. 

There will be girls with high attributes and low potential. So if you don't care about training you can just pick those kind of girls.

Since potential is important we NEED to change how recruiting works. This is in roadmap for v0.72 but I really hope I'll manage to include it in v0.71 since it works so well together.

So there will be 3 ways to recruit a girl. 

- Picking her up from the city

- Go to casting agency

- Let your PA search for them

Every choice has good and bad things. 

Picking her up will get you moderate price + wide range of potential and attributes.

Girls from casting agency are expensive but you'll usually get what you want. Potential may not be as high tho.

PAs will find low attribute girls but with very high potential and low price. So ideal for training.

So it's up to you to choose if you want established girls or train them to stardom yourself.

I think all this will add nice layer of strategy since you wont be able to just put out an ad and be done with it. High potential girls will be rare but very valuable to your company.

Roadmap

Hey all. You are probably wondering what to expect in the future, so here it is.

This roadmap may change. If the coding&testing is smooth I may merge some updates. I read every comment and if I feel something could work good I try to put it in. 

In one of the polls you voted that you want to see more of the production/gameplay. So more of what we have now but expanded. This is what we're doing in the 0.7 versions.

Next in poll was the mansion(0.8). Living like the great Hugh Hefner. What will you do in the mansion, who will work there, who are going to be your girlfriends, are questions for the polls. We'll see where it goes.

0.9 is really open. Again, polls will decide.

0.71 - Skill system for girls, anal scenes

0.72 - New locations, recruiting/casting changes, voted scenes

0.73 - New unique girls, fem main char, voted scenes

0.7x - Random events, Websites, community suggestions, fixes

Some Tier Changes

Hey all.

I'd like to give you a heads up for a couple of upcoming changes we're about to make. 

The first is we're moving into an early access system. Patrons who pledge $5 and above are unaffected, while $1 Patrons will receive each "stable"  release about 7 days later. 

Why? $5 Patreons don't really have many rewards apart from voting, which again isn't that often. I don't have any "art" to offer, I don't want to lock cheats behind a paywall or make some tier specific things. Everyone should enjoy the same content. 

The second change we're making is to the $30 Patreons. If you have been processed at least once as a $30 Patreon, you will receive access to a newly created discord channel where us devs will have our dev talk, which we usually do so in our own channel. If you want to have direct input and making yourself heard at the same time while supporting us, feel free to subscribe. 

Last but not least, we're over halfway to our next Patreon goal. Every monetary support you people give us is put directly into Porn Empire while also allowing us to brainstorm and formulate more projects for everyone to enjoy.

Hey all.

New version finally here. Thank you all for the support and patience. I had quite a few problems with this one but we made it. Hope I crushed all the bugs. 

In my playthroughs I found a lot of things that could be done better but I must sorta stick to the plan and not improve/add every thing I see or else I can do this forever.

I will do v0.71 in the near future to add more FFM scenes and change few things around. Also there are some polls and patreon changes incoming in the following days.

Gameplay

-New special girl - Cop

-New FFM scenes - Go to studio, when status is "shooting"(from 14:00-15:00) open up the studio panel and click on "take a look" button. You have control over the scenes even if your main character is not in them.

-Outfit selection for your girls. Shoes, stockings, tops, earrings, necklaces...

-Right click on girls name in "Girls" tab and you have the option to add her to favorites. A little star will appear next to her name. You can also rename her to whatever you want and confirm with ENTER.

-Hotel's girls list now show all data + image.

-Production scene is updated to show all the girl's data.

-You can sort girls by last shot, last published scenes and specific attributes.

-Sex skills builds up for everyone not just the main character (+1 after 4 sex scenes)

-Kimberly(the special nurse girl), her effect changed from -STD chance to -50% for rehab time(surgery and drugs).

-Maya(the school girl from library) can now also be employed as your PA

-You can hire as many PAs as you want. There are 6 roles for them in your company. Trends & fans analytics, talent search, reports, and production for each studio floor.

-As you assign PA to a perticular floor new options open up. You can choose type of movies being made and some other settings.

-Alt girls appear more frequently in the park.

-Sex position selector

-Camera zoom in bedroom & office(With scroll wheel)

-Websites bring way more money (almost *3)

-Increase Beauty on girls. 1 week temporary bonus +10.

Bugs

-Choosing Alice to be a pornstar sometimes crashed the game.

-Only 2 Actors were showing on the scenes tab, even if there were more in the scene.

-Studio production was charging the actors even if you already them.

Assistants and more

Hey all. 

Manually managing studio productions gets really tedious after a while, especially if you have 9 studios, so I made some changes.

You will be able to employ multiple PAs and give them roles. In the image you can see (apart from new hair and outfit) that PA is assigned to Floor 1 productions. 

There are also some additional options to that. What type of scenes, what categories and how many of them per week. All what's left for you to do is publish the videos, but we may automate even that in the future.

I may or may not include actor min happiness, cause i want more factors to influence their happiness.

You do all this with "Assign a function" button.

WHEN?

Very soon. I finished making the special girls(cops) and everything else, so now there are just some FFM animations left. They take a little more time cause of more bodies. 

I'm struggling with the idea if I should just release v0.7 and in the following week or so animate more positions and release them in v0.71(I have 15 FFM positions at the moment)

Patreon Nonchanges

Hey all.

Patreon decided not long ago to start charging the fees to patreons instead of creators. 

This resulted in an outcry from both sides, since we (the creators) started losing patreons and you because you had to pay more. 

They changed their minds so $1 is $1 and $50 is $50 again. 

You probably received the mail from patreon by now so I'm writing this just in case you missed it.
