So, that Typhlosion may have been telling the truth.

Sometimes guests book you straight to a room and when reception and booking isn't that fond of you, sometimes they like to spring surprises they feel like you've brought on yourself.  That, I expected.

What I DIDN'T expect was a battle-bred, league-trained, double-sized fricking electric bunnydog to zip into the room and have me tased, pinned and mounted in about as much time to say it!

Brushes for Brushwork! (Art Trade)

So recently I thought I might try my paws at an art trade!

And who better to do that with than with one of the artist Pokemon?  A Smeargle!  

This is Richard, (otherwise known as Xanaomin on Furaffinity) a fellow Café Plaisir creator!  And they have a thing for turnabout and fair play!

And it's really interesting to see the contrast between our styles!  Man, I might have to do more like this!  ^.^

Last April Fools, I posted "The Truth," a non-canon AU wherein it turns out the author of Plaisir is living a very different life from the colourful one of which he told in stories.  Not a glorious Ninetales, and not loved or even despised by the interesting - though not quite in the ways he made them out to be - characters of Plaisir who barerly know...

This week I had a scare where I thought I might have eaten some Hemlock and was going to die! z: D

So naturally, the correct response was to do some Hemlock art, including a sketch page to commemorate the occasion.  Also; snakes are sexy as hell.

Laptop technical troubles persist, and thus there's still no coloured art to be competantly done with my screen situation, but I can still keep on with writing and with non-coloured art!

So!  You're probably all aware by now that I'm having substantial IT issues!  Which is to say that my laptop, where I do all my work, has died on me!  And it has resisted all efforts to ressurect it thus far!

My desktop PC has a wonderful 15 year old 42" Samsung TV that is just wonderful for games and videos.  And is utterly useless for artwork, lacking the colour range and fidelity and contrast to accurately work on coloured art (I've tried it before last time I had...

Cancelled Animation WIP

So; in case any of you hasn't heard by now: my laptop died on me last week and I've been unable to work on any of my major projects.  I've been trying to keep on going with my media PC, but it's just no good at art.  It lags out whilst drawing lines and the screen is bad for colour.  Sorry for the delays!

Update:  A new motherboard for my laptop has been ordered.  Should arrive in two weeks, then I can get back to work properly!

Bre upgrade extravaganza!

Sometimes I like to go back and upgrade older pictures... ones that didn't quite live up to their potential due to my skills at the time.  

And who's a better subject for upgrades than that dear little demon, Chai?  

The head was the biggest point of failure on the Anthro Chai pic, so that's been changed to the new design.  "The Impt at Rest" had a similar problem, with similar improvements!  Though I'm still not happy with that one, so it's likely to see more ...

Café Plaisir - Dirty Fox (Printable!)

Hello everyone!  I hope you're all having a lovely weekend!

All of the projects I have in the works are still in an unpresentable state right now, but that doesn't mean you don't get a perk this week! 

As it happens, from the very start of the Dirty Fox project, I sneakily made sure to do the whole thing in the same proportions as A4 paper!  I always had a view towards making this comic printable.... but at the same time, I wasn't willing to post the comic in to FA ...

October vs. Hugh Mann

Goodness!  It's been over a week since my last post, aaaaaa!

None of the comic or story projects I'm working on are ready to show, aaaaaa! 

So here's a doodle I did this week!  

Upon coming up with a scale reference to show how big October actually is, I stood him next to able human representative, Hugh Mann.  

At which point I noticed gosh darn but those hips are big.  Like, wider than a human's hips.   And with fur at l...
