Ray and Jak's talk was one of the hardest scenes to rewrite despite being so similar to the old version. Like I've said before, the themes of the story had to be tweaked for this version of Ray, who's responsible and thinks things through. Which means, Jak's talk had to different. Originally, Jak was reminding Ray of the good he's done. In this version, this is still the case but more subtle and more in Character for Jak with his blunt nature. I appreciate all of you for being so patient. Motivation has been very rough, worse than I can recall in recent memory. But don't worry, this week I've been feeling better. But it sure does suck not wanting to draw, y'know?
The 2nd act continues to divert from the original. Before I get into the more detailed commentary, a minor thing I like is how I can keep the character of Morales' body guards. More specifically, Natasha and Khali who have very little dialogue in the original chapte...
Chapter 1: Pages 32-36 (No more Mistakes)
Submitting page 32 again because I had some changes to make. The Port Town Gang gets ready to make their moves and we get some insight on Ray's motivation. Morales is the same ole Morales, and I think Jak is surprisingly more supportive than he was considering the new changes to the setting. Only 3 scenes left to finish sketching! Enjoy!

Phew, and I thought Chapters 5 and 6 wore me out with crowds, this is ridiculous, lol. You can see I stopped trying as hard as time went on, XD. But they look good!
So much action! So you see, none of this should be recognizable to any of you since this is an entirely new 2nd act. But you might catch that some of the beats are similar to the old version of the 2nd act.

Don't mind me while I resuse old drawings for posts and TV stuff LOL! Still slow at delivering these to you but at least this is a much shorter scene. This scene is mostly similar to the original version but I swapped out Liev for Amber and Ruby, unnamed in this scene, for the brevity of the chapter. So at this point, they just seem like tough lackeys for a mysterious boss we've yet to meet. This scene is also much simpler in general. Only 3 pages compared to the original 6. Just gets straigh...

I apologize for the delay, I wanted these pages done 2 weeks ago, but with several dialogue changes coupled with the holidays, it took me forever to get these pages done LOL. Hopefully these pages are easier to read than the first batch. Here's also hoping I have a more consistent production as 2024 starts.

Evolution of Ray Fox Book covers
Now this one is strange because of how vastly different of a story Ray Fox was before I officially made a website for it. I don't even know where to begin so I guess I'll keep it brief lol.

Ray Fox has technically been rebooted once before. Many of you have probably never seen that first cover. It was for a version of Ray Fox that didn't make it past 16 pages before scrapping the whole thing. But I made it available to access for those who purchased the physical copy!

Ray Fox reignited cover WIP!
Finally getting started! This is the new cover that will be replacing the old one on the very first page of the site. I haven't forgotten about the monthly illustration from last month. I've just been hyper fixated on the script and I finally settled on something I want. So this week I'll be working on the covers and ref sheets as well as the last month's illustration.
Next week I start working on the new chapter 1, and I'll be streaming as much as I can for you guys. Im excited!
