Daemonomicon: College of Metal

Underneath the flaming skies and across the wastelands of Avernus one thing can be heard…  METAL The metal was invented in the hells by devils to bolster their own kin and incite violence  against the endless hordes of demons in the Blood War. The first bard to bring metal to material plane was a musician who was said to have been chosen by destiny to survive the  countless battles, learn to play metal, fight off its hateful corruption, and challenge the leader of  Avern...

Trickery Domain: Revised

Gods of trickery - such as Tymora, Beshaba,  Olidammara, the Traveler, Garl Glittergold and  Loki - are mischief-makers and instigators who  stand as a constant challenge to the accepted  order among both gods and mortals. They’re  patrons of thieves, scoundrels, gamblers, rebels,  and liberators. Their clerics are a disruptive force  in the world, puncturing pride, mocking tyrants,  stealing from the rich, freeing captives, and  flouting hollow ...

Primal Path: Path of the Ceremorph

Mind flayer tadpoles once implanted into the  humanoid victim devour the hosts brain, taking  its place and transforming the host’s body  through Ceremorphosis into a mindflayer. Ready  to serve the elder brain. However barbarians that  walk the path of the ceremorph are the host of  rare, mutated tadpole that has no connection or  desire to serve an elder brain. It will not devour  their brain but instead live in symbiosis with the  its host bra...

Sorcerous Origins: Verdant Soul

Your innate magic comes from a well string of flourishing nature magic. Most often, sorcerers with this origin have a soul blessed by a god of nature or an Archfey. Verdant souls have a close affinity to all things that grow and can use their magic to encourage growth and rejuvenation. Many of them are mistaken for dryads or treants. The most powerful of their kind can balance the elements and manipulate them to devastating results.

Daemonomicon: Queen of Chaos

The queen's lower body is a mass of 10 mauve tentacles, like a giant squid's. The tentacles are  always shiny with slime, and a network of red and purple veins shows beneath the skin. Her upper  body is humanoid, female, and grossly fat. The skin is bluish, lighter at the corpulent belly and  darker in back. The queen's eyes and hair are green; the locks hang in drooping curls. When  standing upright on her tentacles she is about 25 feet tall, but she measures more than 90...

Primal Path: Path of the Abomination

Barbarians that walk the Path of the Abomination  are miss understood drifters, loners, and outcasts  shunned by society due to their appearance.  Many of them are poor souls that did not ask for  the mutations, disfigurement, and hunger that  afflicts them. Many commoners are quick to call  them monsters and raise their pitchfork or torch  against them causing them to fight in self-defense. This viscous cycle of being labeled a  monster and being force...

Due to my absence I want all patrons to vote! Also I've been working on a few revisions to old subclasses that I don't feel satisfied with. I'll be posting them soon.

Barbarian: Path of the Bloodmonger -  A vampiric barbarian! A charm ability, walking on walls and ceilings, a ...

Ranger Archetype: Witch Hunter

“If you stare at the abyss, it stares back at you” is a  saying most witch hunters know well. Many rangers  that take this archetype have seen the grievous  consequences of a magic users curiosity,  uncontrolled power, and lack of morality. Perhaps  they’ve seen a town fall to an undead scourge  thanks to a necromancer or they’ve lost a loved one  who made a pact with an otherworldly entity. All  witch hunters roam the world in tracking of those...

No battle or war is won alone. Any barbarian that follows the path of the warlord knows this rule. All warlords have honed their barbaric prowess in the crucible of war. Barbarians who walk the path of the grave channel their rage from their own death. These  barbarian are caught somewhere between life  and undeath fueled only by their fury and revenge for the one that killed them. They are  now a shattered remnant or shadow of the  person they once were. Barbarians of this path  find it hard to feel and express any emotion  besides rage and hatred.  This subclass is a perfect fit of your barbarian meets on unfortunate and e...

Roguish Archetype: Justiciar

To bring justice and vengeance in the name of  your deity is your duty. You’re a priest specially  trained to hunt heretics, stop cults, and  exterminate enemies of your deity. Most  justiciars are devote worshippers of their deity  trained in a temple at a young age in the ways of  threat identification, infiltration, deception, and  assassination. Justiciars are sometimes called  church assassins, holy blades, or angels of death,  but most of t...

Martial Archetype: Revenant

Revenants are unfortunate souls that meet their  end in battle with much left to be fulfilled. A  revenant fighter combines their martial prowess  and skills from their time spent among the living  with their newfound powers from beyond the  grave. Not quite living and not quote undead,  revenants wander around trying to fulfill what  they couldn’t when they were alive or seek  vengeance on those that brought upon their  unfortunate death.

Obox-ob, The Primal Chaos

The demon’s body is an insane thicket of spidery limbs, scrabbling for purchase with razor-sharp  talons arrayed around a scorpion-shaped body. Where a face should be writhe three immense tails,  each tipped with a jagged stinger that seeps black venom. Where a tail should be is a thick neck  surmounted by a horrific face, complete with a vertically aligned mouth and three pairs of leering  red eyes that seem horrifically human in shape. From its murderous maw extends a ...

Ugudenk, The Squirming King

Referred to as the Squirming King, Ugudenk was a worm-like Obyrith that primarily dug through  his Writhing Realm. Seemingly immortal, it was speculated he was himself an Abyssal layer, his  maw a feeding tendril that sometimes reached across the multiverse to devour at apparent random.  His presence brought a fear of that which burrowed, and the crippling thought he could burst from  the ground at any time. Ugudenk had the form of an impossibly large worm-like creature; i...

Pazuzu, Dark Angel of the Four Winds

Although he’s a tall, well-proportioned man, this figure’s demonic features cannot be ignored. His  powerful birdlike talons scrape the floor as he approaches, and four feathered wings shine with oil  and writhe with smoke on his back. His head combines the features of a handsome man and a feral  hawk, his cruel, hooked beak filled with a forest of needle teeth.

Dagon, Prince of the Darkened Depths

The obyrith is immense, its glistening bulk heaving monstrously into the air as a writhing storm of  hook-suckered tentacles unfolds from its shapeless lower body. Its two longest tentacles terminate  in immense five-fingered talons. Its head is that of a deep-sea fish, twisted with cruelty and leering  with a primordial intelligence, its stiletto like teeth immense and translucent. Its body is not quite  sea serpent, not quite mollusk, and not quite shark, but somehow, ho...

Pale Night, Mother of Demons

A strange shimmering in the air announces the arrival of a shape, little more than a billowing white  diaphanous sheet. Closer inspection reveals a lithe and seductive form beneath the sheet, a  voluptuous feminine figure indistinct and hazy. Now and then the edges of the sheet rise a little too  highly on the nether wind, yet never rise high. enough to reveal the details that writhe beyond.

Hey guys, the next will be about the Obyriths. They seem to have been mostly forgotten by WotC and if they aren't going to make stats for them then the 3rd party will. I'm mainly sticking to the Obyrith demon lords and maybe some other obyriths.

Arcane Tradition: School of Astrology

The School of Astrology explores the cosmos, the stars, constellations, and the power they hold over fate and destiny. Many scholars believe the gods weave the fates of mortals in the stars  and more specifically in the constellations over  their heads. Astrologers know the matter that  stars are made of is a primordial energy from a  time when the universe was created. This pure  magical energy, if channeled correctly can allow a  wizard to manipulate fundamenta...

Primal Path: Path of the Apotheon

Legends of great heroes are written about their deeds, their strength, their challenges, and their glory. Many warriors throughout the ages have fought tooth and nail to become legends and  write their names in the stars but must fail. This is your path, but you have been chosen by the gods. Chosen to be tested by your courage, strength, willpower, and resilience. Chosen, if not tied down by failure, to ascend into the heavens as not just a legend or myth, but as a demigod.
