So we had some discussion on whether the current story arc for Transported went above and beyond the normal bounds of weirdness for the comics here. I had some concerns before posting the initial pages, but I thought the eventual pay off was silly enough to forge ahead, so we put up a poll. Big thanks to everybody that voted and commented! Sam and Ruth have bonded over destroying a prison facility and now they get to bond over fleeing from a dimension and never speaking of this ever again. Or bond over overcoming problems. But fleeing sounds sooo much easier.

So I was worried this story arc in Transported might be a bit too on the weird side and some people have spoken up to that effect. There's a misdirect, but if you follow what's given, I totally understand why it might be seen as a bit too much.

Anything exciting at E3 this year for anybody now that the conferences are over?

Transferance was the weird new thing I saw that caught my attention. They did an awesome job of putting out a creepy trailer and I think VR kind of needs that at this point.

Quick Critique: Bloodstained Curse of the Moon

CotM's greatest strengths and weaknesses are the same thing. They absolutely successfully made a new legally distinct not-Castlevania 3. So total kudos to them for proving they understand the old Castlevania games. The downside: all they made was a not-Castlevania. You can find an analogue to so many moments or enemies in the game to the original Castlevanias, so CotM feels like a creatively bankrupt project.
