Fresh from the new game we just posted, GladiatHer, we have a Mercs What If picture where the team joins the ranks of the gladiators. A super science magical bludgeoning tool is exactly the kind of thing you can use to summon Mercy.

Hold your mouse over the M's halo on the Mercs button on the title screen.

Press "`" (the key next to 1 on a standard keyboard) to add 5 to your damage.

You will see a box become visible over the halo if you did it correctly.

You can do this as many times as you want, but if you do it enough you're basically removing any skill from the game.

Mercs First Look

Hello, Patreon Mercs! I was doing some cleaning up and found the folder I had with the first draft of Mercynaries and thought it would be fun to post as a Patreon exclusive. This is how comics start! Sketchy stick figures on cheap paper. It starts with the two goddesses and brings the Mercs in after a bit.

It was fun to see how different the story started but all the basic elements were there. I thought the mystery element added to real launch added a better jump in point for the audience.

Halloween 2016 Commission

Our commission was supposed to go up for Halloween but it came in late, so it's not for Halloween, it's in honor of... Statehood Day for North AND South Dakota! No, hmmm. Steve Ditko's birthday? The birth of the CBC! The birth of cheerleading? That seems like a rather suspect thing to give a definitive birthday to. We were supposed to have a Halloween commission ready for the site, but the artist I was working with totally flaked on us and hasn’t actually delivered the picture. Hopefully we’ll get it soon, but in the mean time, Halloween sounds like a fine time to harass the Librarian with silly costumes! Being subject to the whims of humanity means it’s sassy costume time year ‘round on her island.

Villains- Blue Stinger Nephilim

We started our villain pictures with a Crazy Games character, so let's end it with one too. I know Blue Stinger is a bad game, but it's a bad game I really like. It's a lousy defense, but once you beat the game once and unlock the extras, it becomes a lot of fun! It's got dinosaurs, super science, glowing space ladies, sinister Christmas music, and possibly the best named soft drink ever, Hassy!

Villains- Star vs the Forces of Evil

This week's villain is Ludo from Star vs the Forces of Evil! I really like what that show is doing for its second season. Powering down Star a bit was exactly what they needed to do. Season 1 got a bit iffy on how they were able to resolve every issue by having Star cast a spell and Ludo was a bit too much of a useless villain just there for comic relief. Now in season 2, Star has to put some work in and they've really torn down Ludo and are in the process of building him back up into something ...

September 2016 Commission

We got our September commission in to celebrate the site's anniversary. If there's somebody that knows how to party, it's a Sin.

Villains- Ape Escape

Let's continue our villainous pictures for October with Specter from Ape Escape! I have talked frequently about my love for Ape Escape (man, do the controls and camera not hold up over time!) and Specter is a great villain. Villains- Illbleed

I already normally draw pictures and comics about demons and monsters, so we need to get some straight up villains going to get ready for the October season! First up, Cashman from Illbleed! October 2016 Mercynaries

Hello and welcome to the October Mercs, fine Patreon people! Big thanks to everybody that helped support the site last month! I'll be reaching out to a commissioner for October (still waiting on the September one), we've got lots of bonus art this month, and a story waiting to be posted!

This month, Mercy and Ruth/Roland explore more of the fallout from Mercy's choice, Thor won't keep her mouth shut, and it becomes a bit less funny to be zapped by robots and super villians!
